I really fcking do. I hate being on the side that gets stomped because it's frustrating: but you know what? I'd rather be on the side that gets stomped than the side doing the stomping because it's so fcking boring being on the stomping side. It's gotten to the point where it's fun to let the enemy kill me. Seriously, I'll pop them a few times to let them know I'm there and then laugh as I find out I'm one of the few kills vs many of the deaths they've had. I'll fcking run at them with a rep tool, hell on this map I sat up on the rafters pretending to rep this one pumpkin for almost a minute before they realized I was there and killed me; I was in 4th place on my team and I just left that battle because I was bored out of my fcking mind. Watching paint dry would have been a better use of my time, at least then there's the chance of me catching a buzz from paint fumes.
You know it pisses me off being on the side getting stomped. Not because I'm getting stomped (to be honest that does bother me a bit too) but because I get within the top 5 and way more often than should be 1st; and I know many would think what's the problem with that. The problem with that is I'm a fcking ****** player. Quite frankly I should never get 1st and it's should be a freaking miracle that I get within the top 10. That drives me up the wall, but being on the stomping side, that makes me want to bash my skull in.
It's just ridiculous man that I have more fun letting people kill me than killing them. It's more fun to just crash my Incubus 5 times in a row than to beat the other team. And this is the type of sh!t that reinforces my opinion that the people that do the stomping are just a bunch of dickwards. Because there's no challenge in it, the only fun it is is for the people that enjoy squishing ants. That's the only way I can understand people going balls to the walls against a team for 10 or so after it becomes obvious that they can't competewithin less than a minut+
Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks.
Dust really needs its high sec.

Dusts playerbase is too small for the matchmaker to put whole teams of evenly skilled and geared players up against each other. It tries to make the teams balanced by putting even amounts of the differently skilled players on each team, but that is such a fine thing to work with that it never really happens.
That's all there is to it.
Bigger playerbase = better matches, fewer stomps, less leaving, fewer complaints.
If we want the quality of the battles in Dust to get better, we need to start scrutinizing CCP and the changes they make. If it's not something that will have a positive impact on new player retention, it's not worth looking at right now. If it's not something that will have a positive impact on how often current players are logging in, it's not worth looking at right now. If it's not something that encourage burned-out vets to stay playing a little longer, it's not worth looking at right now.
Something is killing new player retention.

It's funny how long it takes someone to noice me when im RIGHT BEHIND them.
