I cant help with the ports but if your looking to just open the ports for the game. Then just place your ps3 in the DMZ on your router it will open ALL ports up for just your PS3. |

I think port forwarding ( and QOS ? ) is what he ( me ) wants :) |

I have no idea what QOS ? is so i cant help at all with that,
With port forwarding you a port scanner on your pc to scan open ports i think you can also do this via the router home page.
I plug my PS3 in to my pc and make a network that way once i connect to a game i scan the open ports to find whats using what and do it that way.
Im not the best at the technical stuff but i atleast try to help |

Im not too technical either but = QoS = Quality Over Service ( for network traffic )
I did Port forwarding for Kz3 and it helped alot to lag issues there. DMZ was ok too but imho port forwarding was even better and its "safe" compared to dmz. |

I'm on a corporate network, and haven't had the time to set up my own equipment to do the any tracking of ports - the desination info is a great start, but to get the network guys out involves pulling teeth and hair to get them to do it.
Cool, I'll set up a little microtik router between the PS3 and the office network and torch it... |

i'm just grabbing links and posting here. as others have stated, either DMZ or UPnP is the best option. UPnP from what I am seeing will best work if you assign your PS3 a static IP and give it a Host name in the router.
this is a post from a user on the US PS forums ( http://community.us.playstation.com/thread/3891787 )
this is the US PS Knowledge Center ( http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=1136 )
another KC post that could help ( http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=285 )
others just for the fun of it ( http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=241 ) this is a contact sheet to contact 3rd party Dev's about their ports, although CCP or Dust is not listed ( http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=649 )
i use DMZ, UPnP, static IP and host name is all in my router... no issues. my official Sony 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound headset seems to cause me lag issues FYI. turn off voice and headset and see if this helps anyone!?
edit: trying to make links work with ( ) lol |

I have that headset too. had problems in KZ3 with that too, but after doing portforwarding (kz3) :
TCP Ports: 10070 - 10080 UDP Ports: 10070 Voice Chat: UDP 6000-7000, 10070 (for headset operation) Remote Play via Access Point: TCP 9293 (I didn't do this one) PLAYSTATION Network: TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223 UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658
it was solved..

DMZ should do the trick, you can still check your NAT type ... eithe 1 or 2 is good, 3 is bad.
From my experience though, some routers don't do DMZ very well ... so if it doesn't work, you may still want to forward the ports, this also means you'll need to make your PS3 use a static IP to make the forwarding easier
