ETA: I corrected some of my phone's autocorrects, but not all. Please excuse anything that sounds/reads oddly... my phone has a morbid sense of humor.
I tried to play some matches last night, but it was... a horrible
experience, to say the least. Note: I have an SSD, and a 150MBps connection that was empty at the time besides my PS3... until this patch, I rarely, if ever, experienced any form of lag or frame loss on my end.
Match 1, a PC: Got on warbarge, everything good, but at 5 minutes left, suits would not restock when asked too, and clones were skipping all over the screen. Mass kick happened at 2:30 left and match disappeared from Battle Finder. Awesome... our alliance member lost 200+ clones on that attack.
Match 2, a PC: Everything seemed fine until game breaking lag occurred... being a PC vet, I can say this was some of the worst rubber banding, frame loss, and poor hit detection that I have experienced since GALLENTE (lag) Research Facility was still in PC. People with jump mods were teleporting and jumping around the screen like fleas, and it was overall a horrible experience.

Match 3, a PC: much of the same as match 2, but hit detection was even worse, where shooting a still target on my own team at point blank range caused 0 damage, and the same on the enemy. Saw grenades bounce off air as if it was a solid surface (and drop ships, too, in other places). If this is PC 2.0, I hope the game dies... it is unplayable.
Match 4, FW: my corp talked me into staying for a couple of matches as they missed me... went into a Cal FW, within seconds, 10 Disconnects happened, and 1 black screen from my own crew. More joined to replace, and after a minute with them in, 12 of us froze and then were kicked from battle. I lost a suit to this kick... it left the match as 16v4 for a bit before refilling.
Match 5, FW: I tried once more to get a win, or, a playable match. On joining, it was 10v8, then people left (?) On the enemy team till it was 10v2 in the warbarge with no new additions. At one point, the warbarge timer even reset back to full (really guys...?) and it seemed like a good time up until I black screened instead of being able to spawn, and 2 others in my squad got kicked. One even got a Scott error instead of being able to join.
I am not sure what is going on, but this game is in more pieces that a puzzle.... and no one seems to care that is broken apart.
Good luck guys... I have instructed my friends to let me know when it is fixed... otherwise, this was the rattling last breath of a dead game, too me.
