This event is completey one-sided to Proto squads and people that have no lives that can play all day every day for a week.
Why not just set the vent to if 514 players can manage to get 514 kills then we all get a reset. OR total of 514,000 or 551,144 kills TOTAL between all players. Then everyone whom participated to some degree, maybe played at least a total of 5.14 hours gets a reset. Or hell even just GIVE one to everyone and make the reward something else.
People getting f'd over cause of bad skill selections in the past should be able to have the option to do better rather than pros that play all day get the ability to make themselves even more dangerous to f* the newer players over.

I'm running the event with the aforementioned personal character and described fittings, and yes, some games are one-sided, but still, I'm at 96 kills and 5 victories right now. Only started playing the event 3 hours ago, since I was working till 18:00 server time. Basic - or even militia BPO - fittings can get you through this.
Also, I do not think there should be a way to just ride it out, letting everyone else do the work and still get rewarded.
I did get stuck on the Victory screen once, but I just left my desk to do other stuff, and by the time I got back I was back in the MQ, so I didn't even have to restart or anything. No black screens so far.

To be honest, I actuially find the free respec, especiallyhte steep requirement of 514 kills to be a bad idea.
1. it is unattainable for certain roles. Logis spring to mind. The requirement could at least then have been 514 kills/team-revivals (combined)
The second is 514 kills over 7 days?
That way the respec only goes to the 1% top proto stompers, as if they really need more help. |

Few people have the time to play for 3-5 hours a day required for most of us.
And today I went into 5 rounds. All were insanely lopsided. One even ended 13 vs 3 |

I do not have issues with killing im just about something new.
All is just kill this and that amount of people.
Some inovation can be great sometimes.

Such is the wonders an Amarr Logistics can do.
Amarr Logi is the best Assault Logi. I might need to skill into it when I get the respec.

This event is going better than I thought. Did 18 matches. 14 dom, 1 ambush, 3 cfw. 7 wins 118 kills.
Most were with kaalakiota tac, max krins dmg on cal light appex. 5 with a thale, 3 locust grenade, 11 militia sniper rifle bpo, and one std bolt pistol kill.
I only pulled out the Thale to combat enemy officer snippers.
When I look down my scope, all I see are dead people.
