Or whatever. There was a thread a while back about Dust vs Rage & nearly everyone i think rages at some point with a few rare people that don't. Since i can't find it I'll make my own. If i could not get mad every single time i screw up i could actually improve at playing.
I think most of my screw ups happen when, i die, i get upset, cause of being upset i don't think, and that's my Dust career in a nutshell. There are some issues that are out of my control but i think it doesn't affect as much of, my playing quality as much as i would think. I think.
I think there is SOMETHING about this game that makes you rage more then any other game ever but can't figure it out. To keep from actually damaging any property that i can't replace i do something else. When I'm not responding to invites or something usually I'm AFK because of anger or AFK because of RL outside of anger.
So who can agree or disagree with the Dust vs Rage theory? Or is it normal?

This game and Melty Blood are the only games to have made me rage at some point.
It was very early in this game, when I first joined. I threw my controller. Told myself that was really stupid, picked it back up and kept playing.
Never raged since.
EDIT: Before anyone asks, what made me rage was TAR spam when I was running a min scout. Before the min scout was useful.
I felt so helpless back then

I TRY not to rage whenever possible but I hate with the passion of thousand burning Sun's when I die to a game glitch like the slow perma-fall, the old melee glitch (game breaking run speed + near inexhaustible stamina + turbo punch) or frame rate issues. I can fully appreciate that I'm rather terrible but when I die to things outside of my control I start to get salty.
I used to moderate annoyed at jumpy bastards with plasma cannons but with the bolt pistol nerf and general community hatred they don't live long anymore. |

I found out that a certain amount of rage helps. Like last night. I was playing a dom. Perma scanned all game and was laggy. I got so mad i somehow killed 9 players in a row and i was going 3 vs 1 in one spot 3 times untill i literally ran out of nano hives and ammo.
The enemy had the closest supply depo and my team had nano hives on top of buildings so i just took a death i was willing to take to get a few more kills before game ended.
That match was a good match despite the rage. I went 21 - 12 all proto suits and we won due to clones. Though hit detection suked at the end of the game i was having fun with my rage.
So long story short some rage is a good thing.
Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

Play N64 perfect dark vs perfect sims and learn the true meaning of rage.
For additional hair pulling, make them greys...

well to be fair it depends on what you value
since this game is based around team play and winning as well as making a profit you can contribute rage to any of those factors
for me I find that I rage more when either A. I get lag and stupid things happen that makes me feel like I am playing against the odds without being able to fight back properly or B. my team disappoints me by failing to do simple tasks
since I mostly run std gear isk is no issue and since I don't care about winning or losing as much as I do putting up a good fight and trying to win even if it doesn't seem like we will, those things tend not to get to me as much

I rage...
Usually when I'm trying to do something non-traditional, and some obnoxious little jerkoff goes "Oooohhh! Lemme use a super generic optimal boringass fit like a generic cvnt!" and then kills me with said generic optimal lame boringass fit because they are a tediously generic waste of space in this large, vast, empty universe.
