There is literally not a single good reason to stay silent about it if your employer intends on porting. Even if you announced intentions to do so, but don't and the game dies with the PS3, you still end up with upset people. However with an announcement you have old players coming back and existing players sticking around. The additional revenue from an announcement would go a long way toward paying for a port. Seriously, port it. Hurry
