Newer MG games have added a ton more movement capability and takes a little while to adjust to , especially if the majority of your previous gaming is standard FPS fare. Things like reliably climbing walls, jumping handrails and being shot by invisible people who don't magically become visible just because they shot you are tough concepts to handle for some. They were some of the best fights I've ever had -- and certainly groomed us to take on Tso's in its entirety. Yes, I came back with....bad intentions. I was very sure kalante and yoshi were there, never said ari was. I'm sure sir snugglz was there too and maybe 1 other red star. We might be thinking of different battles around the same time. Reg may have not been there. Darth gio and abandon privilege were there too, yes. Those AE guys ringing for roman was long after that keq ringer team time. Roman and FA were mildly acquainted at the time, not sure if they were even in alliance at the time. I would have loved to have had zatara during that time, we would have been significantly more competitive. Though I did appreciate lags and dev keeping it together for the most part, and organizing PCs for us. Like O.H, FA also lost zatara and other A-class core players to Destiny. We were definitely a shadow of our former self since then, but have definitely grown since and always remained very competitive amongst the best corps regardless. I was not trying to disparage Cap Acq, you are definitely 1 of the better leaders this game has seen. I was just trying to emphasize the undying nature of FA I had come to realize, core players not badwagoning out of there, the loyalty in tough times, I think we are on our 4th generation of leadership, still alive and kicking amongst the top.

As I see it, our only problem is that we never really practice or really play together (qsync) and if we do it doesn't last long because we get tired of waiting or get angry with each other and carry on to pubs. We will never completely die. When majority of everyone took a break from us pulling out of the last war. Yes we were starting to lose but we were using basically the same players for more than 7 pcs a night for a solid two weeks before we backed out.. Thus getting tired and needed a break. FA is a great corp with great people. As much as you all hate us.. What would the game be without us. Badgerr Ragers alt. I ain't scared like ya'll.

I was just trying to emphasize the undying nature of FA I had come to realize, core players not badwagoning out of there, the loyalty in tough times, I think we are on our 4th generation of leadership, still alive and kicking amongst the top. Every corp is guilty of the first part at some time. Corps always ebb and flow in terms of power and activity. More than once has Corp A come and beat Corp B when they weren't active and didn't have players who cared anymore. Chest beating happens, and people forget such things off their high of "Finally beating that one corp". I personally am just happy with FA's overall power level over time. We've had some amazing highs and some really low low's, but FA has pretty much been a main player over all that time. They might not have held the same level of dominance the entire time, but we were still a name that would be thrown around. EVERY top tier corp has gone through this. AE, Cap, OH, and FA all come to mind fairly easily. All of them have had times where they were strong as hell, and weak as hell as well. At the end of the day, we can all at least respect each other on the sheer fact that over SEVERAL generations of leadership, the names still hold power. Highs and Lows might be all over the place, but the average shows that all the corps are amongst the best in PC. Re-Retired PC Scout. I miss the old days ;_; Wanna play EVE? 30 day trial here
