I'd say they ought to make jump height variable based on how long you hold down the "jump" button. For example:

1) press it, you jump normal height
2) hold it for 1 second, you jump half your myo'd max
3) hold it for 2 seconds, you jump full myo'd height

In addition to the above, jump height should then be tied to stamina consumption. For example:

1a) normal height uses current stamina
2a) half myo'd max height uses 1.5x current stamina
3a) full myo'd height uses 2x current stamina

BOOM! Myofibrils are less problematic. They become more for tactical maneuvers for traversing the map outside of combat instead of the obnoxious damage mitigation tactics/engaging maneuvers INSIDE combat they are currently used for.
