Damn new player tutorials. Or what I mean to say is give them a darn tutorial! I had to explain to a first day as a merc how to get to faction contracts and why he should NOT go into em yet.

Come on CCP. I don't wanna throw sh*t in your face but please. Give them newbies a tutorial. If the forums and I can come up with a decent basic tutorial for newbies would you implement it next hotfix/patch?

Ps. Not trying to imply anything but this 'welcome to a cold harsh new eden where we don't even tell you how to find and operate the toilet in your merc quarters because we want you to learn on your own'is getting really stale.

I'll work on some kind of basic tutorial thingy or least the key facts on how the game works and it can go into the help section of the neocom,cuz that thing is bare.

The battle types tab of the help thingy doesn't even show acquisition as a battle type.

I was actually thinking about going out of my way to make a new player tutorial and post it up on youtube. When I get in a squad with a new player, they are just so lost and this game explains so very little D:

New guys have to be lucky to run into a vet or just get stomped for a weak and mess up their skill tree with no way to recover other then sinking money into a game they were probably playing because it was free x.x

I agree, I recently did an experiment where I made a new account and played. Dark Souls was easier. NPE is absolutely horrible.

When I encounter a newbro here is what I do. If they speak Spanish I add them to TEAM RATA channel. If it's English I'll send them to the Learning Coalition. Do the same and they won't leave. The coalition was set up for that reason. Use it to its potential and let the newbros get 1 on1 interaction with vets.
