After a while of testing this is my impressions:
1. Spend time to gather SP and ISK, spend them on new stuff, get into battle, get killed, be unable to use the fitting mostly adapted to you.... I wish that BPCs were removed, and a bit more expensive BPOs only. If I "level up" I want to stay that level, not just for as long as I can be bothered to buy more stuff.
2. Get in a battle, fight, die, and bleed! Receive 0.0 SP...... what?
3. Enter a battle as a newbie, never leave or get better.... How about some kind of ranking, or weighting of "how good you are", and match people on the same level, and give people who haven't spent their entire life playing COD:MW and honed their skills at aiming with gamepad, a chance to get into it, and gradually get better.
4. Play online with people from all over the world..... be as alone as if you played on your own, only with annoying sniper-bots.
5. In your face, emptying a clip of ammo down your throat...... and I get killed! (-_-;) A full clip dead center in someone's head should have them dead, not me.
6. Buy stuff, get ready for action..... and wait up to a full minute between spawns. I know there is stuff to buy that reduces spawn time, but I put priority on skills needed to wear better suits, armor, weapons first, and not spawning speed.
7. Tired of how complex and time-consuming EVE is? Play DUST instead...... and get disappointed how much time you have to spend in menus, lists, and jumping from entry to entry trying to compare stats. Why not show your current favourite fittings stats, and how the item you are looking at right now will change them with up-arrows when a stat is improved, and a down-arrow when it is reduced.
I was so psyched for this game, as a great fan of the EVE universe, but got tired of how much time EVE required, and how little that time was rewarded. When I heard of DUST, a quick and accessible FPS where you can help make a difference in EVE. However, this turned out not to be the fact, where you are still doing EVE stuff, but except for flying a spaceship, you are running along ground.
I really hope CCP listens to all the feedback made here on the forums, as almost all of it would make this game so much better. |
