WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

What is felt as recoil is actually the rapid switching of coolant (and release of the rapidly expanding, superheated gas) around the focusing assembly and Diode(s) of the weapons...this is necessary due to the energy lots to heat with each "cycle" of the weapon. In all seriousness...the 4x recoil increase doesn't do much to it...4x a very small number is still a very small number...it's large enough to be noticed now...if you are actively looking for it xD Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.

But the actual function of scram weapons is actually described in the scrambler pistol descriptions. The rifle description focus more on the clunkiness and effectiveness of the weapons.
