For some reason lag and frame rate drops are now worse. Definitely not a problem on my end. It seems the faster my connection gets, the worse my gaming experience gets. Literally saw high ping players in scout suits walk away from a boundless remote explosive unscathed. Either century link is rubbish, or lag compensation is at its finest. Would like some info from players with fast Internet connections.

Your internet is too fast for dust
edit: I invented the internet, wifi and computer games, here's an in-depth explanation
According to my fundamental branch of physics, quantum mechanics uses the inequality theory to process photons, electrons and neutrons into plancks that can transport information at incredible speeds based on Maxwell's equations and thermodynamic principles. Because the current playstation 3 technology is not hardwired to handle the photo-electric effect when information passes through it at speeds exceeding relative quantum optic speeds, the information is transferred into photo-electric waves that can cause mis-interpretations in several devices, including the century link. Sadly, only quantum mechanic's can save us...

Yes, the inverse happens. Your connection is so good that others systems are trying to catch up to yours. Ergo, they get the advantage and you look like you are moving in slow motion relatively speaking because they can target and keep up with you due to every frame loading on their end.

Do you happen to be using wifi?
I find that the faster the internet connection the stranger things get when a mediocre or improperly set up wireless router is involved.
The only voice for a port is the voice of reason from money drying up.
More skins and 1% damage to keep Dust on PS3.

Just done the port forwarding, static IP, and setting up a DMZ. Gonna test it out and see if it helps. Only played on one game, but had no lag and it was the Gal lag facility too o.O

Interesting.
Try setting up port forwarding on your router to see if that compensates a bit.

You primarily want to look to:
UDP***20000 - 21000*qACK/qGamesDust 514 Battleserver
Also even tho you are wired your set up you may require you to assign a static IP for your PS3.

I don't have a great connection but I've got a decent connection, 30 down & 4-5 up on average with a ping in the range of less than 50-70ms on the servers I tried within the continental US (can't remember the Euro ones I tested but it's in a comment I've made on here for those not as lazy as I am to look it up). I can tell you this much, I never did as well as when I went over my limit and got throttled. I believe this is why Americans I've played with refer to the Euro server as the training server and the Europeans refer to the US server just the same. It's not so much the amount of data that can be transferred but the latency, or time it takes to transfer it and how lag comp gives the slower people a crutch.
Shit man, all I ever get is fucking warnings.
