So I misspoke this weak when saying there is a need for Meta lock because what I intended was the need for a tier lock.
Only Basic or Militia fittings. Anything above would be invalid for the match. |

Don't forget an advanced mode... Splitting our tiny player base into three groups.
Ever thought that if PC had no cost and no clone biomass for isk then the endless flow of isk from large corps would dry up and they would have to run what economics determined. I have over a billion isk and if they emptied our wallets and got rid of Corp isk I would care less and still be able to run anything I wanted.
Also in this milita mode, maxed pilots would have almost nothing to fear anymore. |

Better rewards?
Have it so that Basic and Mlt matches give minimum SP and ISK payouts and salvage. However it should be enough to help people progress to ADV.
ADV matches should have it so that they receive average amount of SP ISK and the occasional good salvage
Proto and officer Matches should give the most SP and ISK as well as an increased chance of getting Officer Gear (possibly rare skins).
Have it so that everyone can participate in each tier but are forced to use a fitting for that tier. For example: If I was to play in ADV, I can use mlt, basic and adv gear, but if I was to put a proto type mod, equipment or weapon on my dropsuit, that suit will show up as invalid when I am choosing a suit to deploy in.
Factional Warfare would not have any restrictions but would have a warning before you que: "WARNING! Weapon restrictions lifted, Advance gear and above highly recommended!"
PC will have the same warning except Advanced will be replaced with Proto.
Edit: Squad Leader determines what tier the squad gets deployed in. Will mean that people (low SP alts and New Players) can be carried to higher tiers and gain SP way quicker.

You should be pushing for an apex only mode. Or a prefit mode. Something where no modification is possible. I think that would be easier to implement.

So you play PC, Skirmish, Domination, Ambush, Acquisition, aaaaaannnndd Factional.
This would assist newberries better than the academy and provide those trying to save isk a haven as well as provide those games where if everyone is rocking basic or militia fittings you will excel based on skill than carrying the golden gun. |

Won't help anything. We need no premade squads and matchmaking mechanic that separates players with a history of squading or in the same corp in pubs.
It's the organization and communication with a power player mentality vs. individual queuing for quick fun that is the problem. Pubs should be the mode for the casual, new and solo player.
Remember also, solo doesn't mean no team work, it means you are queuing solo. You are still part of a team by default and can still worry about helping the team.
CCP logic GÇô We fix what doesn't need breaking.

Truthfully if they took squading away from ambush I think it'd be a blast. However that does go against the part of the game where you succeed with teamwork and communication. I guess everyone could voice on team speak. |

You are not seeing the big picture. We dont have the crew to add new things to the game. A prefit mode would use existing gear. They wouldnt have to add much to acheive it.
As for newbs not being able to participate. They have starter fits.
