When battles are lopsided, offer up a bonus incentive to all mercs on the larger team to receive more isk and sp (10-20%?) to switch sides and give them the ability to do so. The offer is only good until both teams have equal players, and is only offered once; if you deny it you don't get another chance during that game.

Officer squad forms, stomps the **** out of other team, notice appears and they switch and repeat, doubling their pay and kills. |

Officer squad forms, stomps the **** out of other team, notice appears and they switch and repeat, doubling their pay and kills. The idea was envisioned as something that happens in the beginning of a match, likely in the WB or before you first spawn.

I still like the idea of a separate queue/contacts list for reinforcement contracts; higher payout for deploying late in a match to bolster an understrength side and trying to win against greater odds.

I made this post before. It was pretty neat. It does encourage a new eden style world. Seeing as we are mercs who work for anyone.
Ha! You can't kill me! I'm already dead!

Late joiners paid entirely on performance? So the best players wanting more cash would have to support a noob team getting stomped to get a great payout. And perhaps a slowly growing penalty for leaving. If you can prove you have internet issues, counter can be reset or suspended. But the chronic leavers doing it just to practice weak sadism. After enough isk and sp penalties, your account is locked for the day on each quit. This is what would happen to a real cyber merc. Bonus pay if you can turn a losing battle, contract break fees and eventual blacklisting.
Kinda sucks that right now if I join a battle, get two kills, die a few times, team still loses.. no SP. I've played full games with a kill and got no SP.. I'll have to look that up.

Real mercs get to see the terms of a contract beforehand, and choose whether or not to accept it. |

I fully agree with this. CCP could implement a basic overview and for matches in progress show a multiplier on the rewards
