Much of my time in New Eden has been spent defending honor. For the longest time being a good dude was not part having strength. The community valued stats and concrete evidence of your might. They sold themselves to eachother to be strong. They still do.
Ive put alts into corps that hate eachother, that dont play together for fun, but to keep stats up. If all the tough guys huddle together like penguins who are they padding their stats on? We see alot of high school behavior here in New Eden. Bragging, bullying, going steady. Rightly so, many of you are adolescent.
Back to honor. I had intended to put something together to rival the Wolves. We didnt fare to bad, might even still be top 100. Its the experience that i have most enjoyed out of all my gaming years. Leading a group of decent people, helping them become strong, and learning from and about them. The best part was we had honor. They all still do, and even scattered across many corps i watch them strengthen others as we did. Some are fierce and some are organised but all are good people.
I realise the competitive side of this game will always be about the win at any cost, even exploiting a broken system. Its probably the biggest reason i never needed that to have a satisfying dust experience. I needed good people looking out for one another and comraderie. I needed unit integrity, and group progression. Maybe i failed to make great mercs. Not so at making warriors.

This is why my corp takes so long to grow. We can all be too serious on the forums, but in corp we are true friends.
I collect the good ones. We have a blast. Quite a few don't make the cut... (or even get invited) I'm fairly gruff on the forums. Ingame, I got your back, I got that hack, I got you if you are broke.
