is it just me or does the heavy machine gun seem rediculasly over powered or am i just failing when it comes to me vs a heavy |

the only ways i can kill a heavy is to either use a turret and grenades or have 2-3 people attack at the same time from multiple angles. strategy and coordination seems to be the best play for this game and huge amounts of team work. |

All suit have one huge game breaking advantage when it comes to taking on a heavy or group of heavies. Learn it and begin to exploit it and you'll see how week heavies are and how bad the need a buff. |

I didn't quite understand. getting killed in half a second in med rang of a machine HMG is not weak.
the only way you can actually successfully kill a heavy in a 1v1 encounter would be to keep your distance, and hide most of your body behind something. being out in the open at long rang, and you're still dead. being in mid, to short range, and you're dead regardless. You can jump around him all you want, but as soon as he gets his cross hairs on you, you're dead. |

when using a heavy i've been killed multiple times 1v1 by a scout suit who was smart enough to get in close and run around me in circles with an smg, so i guess they're sort of like battleships in a way... |

assault armor can't 1v1 unless you are hidden well, at long distance or ya have a really bad heavy. Scout armor can with subs up close because he is able to move fast enough to keep out of his crosshairs. With assault armor it is actually pretty hard to kill a heavy if your both out in the open |

Ah the Heavy Machineguns.. are those the names used for the weapons that look like the Chaingun or Minigun?
I've noticed that sometimes they can get a head-shot off with those things the very instant your shields are depleted.
I'm fighting on the field taking a bit of damage, the shield, fails, Dead, my Armor bar just blinks out on the next damage pulse. I know its probably not lag, because I get the same performance from the EU as the US servers... so I'm assuming there's a "sweet spot" for instant kills when the shield is depleted.
Other than that, it might be an instant-kill bug? Don't know. |
