If it did get ported, I'd be vary sad, when I have time to do so anyway. It would not be worth buying a PS4 just for one game, especially when that one game is DUST 514. I can barely afford my apartment as it is, there is no way I could possibly get a PS4.

If CCP ports it to PC with the possibility to set the graphics settings to EXTRA LOW I might just be able to play it with my Intel HD GPU...
And I'd be happy.
You can set World of Tanks settings so low it runs at 20 fps on Intel HD so why would it not be possible for DUST 514?

my pc would run it at max settings at over 100 fps
u need a new pc but i bet even your pc will be better than the ps3

Exactly, a port would hurt the fan base far greater then any stomp fest could. Not every one has a PS4, and not everyone has a supper PC for games. And most people can't even afford those things.

It'll require pixel shader 5.0 but only so you can walk around in your MQ. Won't launch if your hardware doesn't support it.
Trying to bring the slayer logi back.... unsuccessfully so far.

The "whales" individually spend more than most the players combined so it makes sense to pander to those who will pay the way to growth.

Yes pc will make insane graphics possible with 100+ fps. But seriously, what's the point ? Nobody would play Dust on pc. It's already almost unknown on ps3 (which only has 3 decent f2p), so imagine on pc !!!
On ps4, it'll have a huge playerbase composed of both new and vet players. It'll be easier to play with friends and meet others (you don't need some bloody teamspeak or mumble server to chat) just as easy as it is on ps3.
The performances on the ps4 will be really good. Not as great as on a good pc, but graphics aren't the reason why we play Dust anyway.
The only drawback to this is that it'll still be linked to Sony servers. But this also brings a lot of new players and that's what dust needs the most.
Port the game to PS4 !
