On an amassault the laser rifle craps out like 5000 DPS at the ass end of the damage escalation before overheat. If there wasn't a time/damage slider tuning it for AV would actually be insanely easy. Wouldn't doubt this 5000 DPS at the high end contibutes to that... Not whining (cause frankly its been me in a ADS seeing the LR beat up shields), just sharing in-game observations...
