If you continuously fire them for long enough, they'll kill any LAV and standard HAVs. Blasters, on the other hand, will do it just as fast, sometimes faster, and railguns are pointed out as Anti-Vehicle turrets.
What's the word opposite to Nerf? (Imma call it Fern.)
Fern railguns please. (Splash Damage is fine.) |

ummm I sorta disagree with you, when in a tank battle, blasters vs railguns rail guns have always won, and i have been on both sides of the battle. On paper the blaster do way more dps, but in reality when it comes to tank battles rail guns beat the blasters anyday of the week. it might have to do with blaster having a range penity that we are not aware of.
in fact when I see another tank I always spawn my railgun fit because I no I will win with that. |

Blaster fire has spread that rails don't so when fighting at range lots of blaster shots miss. That said the ROF and damage on blasters is so good that it doesn't madder. If your fighting at the ranges that a rail would have the advantage then your far enough away that getting to tank sized cover is easy. Even if you use small turrets blasters are still better because of how easily your aim is fouled by the movement of the vehicle its attached to. This is on top of the fact that rails are just plain harder to use because of the windup time. |

Feedback:
Railgun continues to fire after I've released the R1 button if I'd hold R1 for a longer than a few seconds before releasing it. It should have stop firing after I release R1. |

The first part of what you said i will buy, however the last part of what you side is not true. I am not sure if you are a tank driver or what, sounds like you are not. You say "If your fighting at the ranges that a rail would have the advantage then your far enough away that getting to tank sized cover is easy" but this is so far from the truth. In my railgun fitted tank i can kill you in two shots if you are in a t1 tank and 3 in a t2 tank. if you are at a stand still I hit you once, at this point you start moving, even with a tank it takes about 6 seconds to get up to speed to be able to move anywhere, so unless you are already right beside cover which in most maps in the open areas there is very little cover, then i have already killed you. getting to cover takes alot longer then one would think, all I need is 9 seconds to kill you in a rail gun fit tank, 9 seconds sounds long but it really is not because most of the time the rail gun will get the first shot off so really you only have 6 seconds to react (aka decide to run and/or engage mind you most will try to find the attacker) and then move. Again by the time this thought process is over you are dead. |

ive noticed the rail gun turrets seem to be able to fire faster when no one is in control of them. |

I was fitting blasters on my tanks till I started coming up against MORE and MORE tanks!!! Now I fit the non GA Railgun and 2 shot most basic tanks 3 shot advanced.... It even does a good number agaisnt the MCC I get 15 points every second shot when shooting my railgun at it with a slightly noticable drop in hull. Blasters are good if you KNOW theres going to be no armor on the field. Railgun is a must as an AV weapon. Now what needs to be fixed is the small blaster and RG those things are worthless compared to the light missile. Prototype light missiles fitted to a Marauder will nearly kill everything but heavies with one shot. |
