With the new hotfix coming who knows when, I was wondering what I would really like to see. Dont get me wrong, I do like whats coming, and decided to spent some of the sp I was saving. Then I remembered that I was also saving for my dropships; they are decent, but I can hardly say they are good.
I can face other pilots and kill infantry with them, I even get the AV players or get away when I need to. Unless there are more tha two. In those cases, Im pretty much death.
But I have seen that this is not the case with tanks. Sure, many of them get wracked when there are two or more AV players, but those are the basic tanks. The standard tanks also get destroyed, but not so often and prototype tanks... well, they do get destroyes, I myself have destroyed some, but not on my own, and of course, one single player shouldnt destroy a tank, at least not with a good tanker inside. But I guess it can still happen.
Anyway, my point is, if dropships are not good enough yet-and they are not in my opinion- its not because of the modules they have or dont have, but its because there are not tiers yet.
With the new hotfix there is some good stuff coming, and some of the changes are supposed to help pilots. However, is not enough, Im sure the people in charge should know this, and Im sure they are doing the best they can do with what they have. Still, I would really like to see an advace dropship, and of course, a prototype dropship. I guess I dont have to say it, but this includes the assault dropships.
So, I want tiers with dropships, as there are for tanks, so I can be useful to my team and to have some fun fighting other dropships and infantry, instead of running away when I see/hear a player with swarms.
I also would like to see:
- New heavy weapons
- Racial tanks (complet set)
- Racial dropships (complet set)
- Logi Dropship
- Recon dropship (it would be so cool)
- New weapons in general
- Jove assault, logi, commando, sentinel and scout (is what I would like, not what we are getting and I can dream)
- Lag gone (or framerate, I dont really know the difference)
Once again, Im happy with the new changes, so I hope Dust can keep growing and getting better (and maybe ove to PS4?) |

Even so, the first thing I post was what I really want, and if there could be some work in new -epic- maps, that would be great. |

I can agree with all this except the Jove stuff.
The Jove havnt been seen as a military might in New Eden since the Battle of Vak'Atioth. The battle where they used a repurposed Mothership to obliterate a huge chunk of the Amarr Fleet in one go. That sh.t was overpowered. Not to mention their frigates overpowered what remained of the Navy. Jove suits and weapons would be overpowered and extremely hard to balance.
Also keep in mind the average Jove stood at 4 foot. The average Military Clone is about 6 foot (maybe taller). So height wise, we wouldn't be able to fit into the suits.
Also what do they look like? We don't know! The Jove havnt been seen outside their territory for hundreds of years. Not to mention they are probably all dead due to the Jovian Disease.

Ok, so what about using them a super official suit? I know its crazy, but I would love to see a weapon-extremely- rare, capable of changing any battle. |
