I have my server set to US and yet I get tossed into matches with JPN players. That is not acceptable. I am perfectly willing to wait 5 - 10 minutes for a match to start in MY REGION. I had a match last night that I swear topped out at 15 FPS.

As someone who couldn't care less about social interaction in a shooter, I think performance > interaction.

Listen people I LOVE EVERYBODY but I have mental issues, to be honest with you, so I'm 2 people basically.

You're probably missing the best part of this game then...

As for your proposal, I'd love to see a "worlwild server" where people from all around the world could play together. But if you don't pick that server, you don't have any other choice but your own continent. For this I'd sign a thousand petitions !

I am petitioning that Japanese players should not be allowed to play on the EU server, because of the tremendous lag and unbalance which it brings; we as players and CCP as developers do not strive to bring unbalance and lag because they result in a less than satisfactory gaming experience.

Framerate drops has nothing to do with server lag aka latency.

What about Faction Warfare? Or Planetary Conquest?
Suddenly there it would be ok to have multiregional players`?


Or should there be separate FW queues for each server?

We play games to have fun, if you don't have fun there is no point and you are wasting your time. Every single game I play on the EU server in the afternoon is more than 50% full of Japanese players.

There is no denying that somebody connecting from the other side of the world will create more lag than you do, I ping at 23ms to London, they are probably pinging at 10x that amount. You do not create a stable and working gaming environment through having such a disparity in ping.

They are doing this to gain advantage, or they would not be doing it, they are purposefully switching servers to gain an advantage and there are shameless in doing so.

CCP this is impeding my gaming experience and my ability to have fun, as it does for others, I would hope, therefore if it does please sign off here and I shall add your name to the list.

Here's to balance, here's to improving the game, this WILL improve the game, lag does NOT improve the game, it is a FACT, it CANNOT be debated. If you remove lag you will have more fun, the more lag there is, the spottier hit detection there is, the less fun you have. I am all for fun and promoting it, please help me on my mission.
