Do not expect good grammar well constructed sentences or nice words in this thread. I'm about done with this BS and the reason is because Swarms, Rail Gun Turrets, and Forge Guns. They are OP against ADS and I can't even do anything about it. I'm about to quit this game because I decided to respec into ADS.

I'm going to tell you a story, a story of a high school sophmore whose over protective parents don't like the blood and violence in this game that there was while I was nova knifing. So I decided to take the high road and buy a respec into Assault Dropships, inspired by one of saxonmish's recent videos.

It was a giant mistake. First match literally 5 minutes after I made my first Assault Dropship. My fitting was: Python, 1 Enhanced Heavy Shield Extender, 1 Complex Shield Hardener, 1 Complex (Enhanced? I forgot) Light shield booster, a Complex PG mod and XT-1 Missile Launcher. Every one of my vehicle skills is MAXED out.

I have never ADS'ed before and have never skilled into a vehicle and I can tell you they are under powered.

I was in my first match ever in an ADS when as soon as I entered the first real enemy engagement I swooped in only to have a Swarmer, a pro forger, and a OFFICER FORGER immedietely instakill me. This was way in the beginning of the match when the enemy doesn't even know what to expect and they're already in full AV suits? Don't give me any of that "ADS's are OP, Swarms should be buffed" ****. I used a total of 10 Pythons that battle constantly trying to be useful to my team. You know what happened? I got a grand total of 0 kills, 10 deaths (pilot goes down with the ship logic) and 200 points from uplink team spawns. I thought to myself "Maybe I'm just having a bad match and coincedently got put in a battle with a guy who wanted to brandish an officer forge for fun." And so I searched for the next battle, hoping for something better. I was wrong.

Bridge map, go on the enemy side. Instablooped in a matter of seconds WITH my hardener on and my shield booster having been activated. You know why? 3 RAILGUN tanks, another GOD DAMN FORGER, and to top it off, a Caldari Assault CK.0 with (wait for it)...... a BEACON'S SWARM LAUNCHER.

I've lost a total of 20 mil in two matches. Let me emphasize that. TWO MATCHES. And I got 1 kill on a frontline suit in a blaster turret.

I need help ADSing, I'm almost destroyed my headphones and my PS3 controller and I'm about to get ready to rage quit this game.

Any suggestions? Tips? Git gud comments? Inevitable "Bucket of tears" trolls? I need a few. experienced ADS pilots to help me get good at this.

One last thing. AV needs to be nerfed to the ground. Swarms are way to effective, I got killed by a railgun tank while 500 meters above ground (on bridge map) and was blapped by a forge at that same distance (about.)

TL;DR: First time flying an ADS not good. AV OP. Nerf AV. Need help with piloting.

If AV was OP, you'd know, more than likely you faced more than 1 competent team of AV, 2 people with swarms is more than enough to take down any ADS provided their quick enough on their fire time, a solo proto swarmer isn't enough unless its a beacon's which can immediately be taken out of the equation for "nerf/rebalancing" as any would know, OFFICER weapons are end game weapon's and are meant to be OP. 2. Railgun's? Seriously, you must've been flying with you're tail end scraping the ground, unless they hit you from 200meters, forge guns, different story, same ending as most, stay for a spell made by some rookie, expect to either blow up or turn into a toad hiding behind a big rock. FG's require you to actually lead the target, like RG's, but unlike them, they require charge up time, if you were sifting through AV shot's, you should've known what would happen to your ADS if you stayed longer, which you did, and you died. 3. So... not only did you lose a few dropships, you ALSO stayed with the ship?.... Hey uuhh... which server do you play on? which faction too? (Seriousness now) You fail to realize your #1 critical error.... You... Are.... GREEEEEEN! I once took and hacked the enemies ADS and began using it for myself, managed to keep it alive a long time, using its missiles to kill 90% of the opposition, even with PLC's and swarms hitting me, I'd just jet out and jet back in once my-sorry-HIS mods came back online, I'd jet back in, cause major damage. I could also tell my enemy was new to ADS as well, because, I manage to out maneuver him and strike back, bare in mind, I'm green too, haven't flown an ADS besides that one time before. Boy, was the enemy PIIISSSSEED! TROLL FACE YOLO420*. So yeah you just need to actually get used to flying and shooting and knowing when to fly away, know when tor run. And count your ISK.
