I'm sure it has been brought up before, but is it possible to add 1 mid slot to every suit?
I'm thinking that instead of moving certain modules to high or low slots, that you could put one of them (i.e. Codebreakers or Damage Mods) in your mid slot. The CPU and PG of every suit would stay the same, but you would gain a mid slot that you could "sacrifice" a high or low slot for.
If this was a thing, which modules would be best suited for being "mid slot-able"? CPU/PG upgrades? EWAR? Codebreakers? Damage Mods? Biotics? Any HP related modules should not be allowed in a mid slot, imho. How about a new module, like ammo expansion modules?
Just spitballing of course, but I think it could definitely add something to the game, and seems like fairly low hanging fruit. The kind of fruit Rattati doesn't need a scissor lift to get to.
This could also be a pointless idea, but hey, these forums are for us to discuss our options right?

I would say damage mods and biotics for a med slot. I also think the number of med slots should vary depending on suit and race.
Also what I find funny is that our symbol high slots is EVE's medium slot symbol.

Interesting... I did not know that.
How often in EVE do you have slots open though? Would adding 1 or 2 mid slots then make CPU and PG mods more popular?

Depends on your skills, what ship you are using and what you have fitted and what role you are trying to fill. A PvP ship made for tackling will require different things therefore the cpu/pg requirements will differ from a PvE ship made for farming rats, even if it is the same ship. Also if you are going to be using missles or not or have a savalging mod attached or not. All these will dictate if you have open slots or not.
I would have no idea how to make the pg/cpu mods more popular.
Edit: My information on things in eve may be a bit off, havnt played in 7 months and my memory is a bit hazy.
