Pro tip: run for cover as soon as you start taking shield damage (unless you're sure you can kill the guy shooting at you). Be a supporter, never go anywhere alone and hope the enemy will shoot your friend instead of you. STAY AWAY FROM SCRAMBLERS they will wreck your only advantage; high shield HP Strike combat rifles hard, they are the least efficient at taking out shields so you have a higher chance to kill them. If anyone else has some more tips on how to play Caldari feel free to post them in this thread. See you in battle. o7 My sweet summer is gone.

I find the best light weapons for the Caldari to be Combat Rifles and Rail Rifles. The best sidearms are the bolt pistol and the smg. Shields are like the Gallente AR. It's alright, but there are better options but you still have people running the AR like its a RR and that's never going to work out well, like shields. I like complementing RPM between weapon and sidearm. For example I like the MagSec SMG when I use the regular RR and the Bolt Pistol when I use ARR. For the medium suits I like a reactive plate on the third low slot but it can be anything. A kincat might be to costly in terms of CPU/PG. Always stick to a group as you can be easily flanked on your cover. As for the CalSent: stack HP like crazy. 3 shield extenders and 2 vanilla armor plates. I can't really think of a better way to exploit its shield "advantages".

I've talked about that and how damage profiles need to be reworked but ..... You are right though , how can you fight long distance and your fighting against functional opposition , they can think ... their not A.I. that can be programmed to not attack , people will find you , scouts will get up close , so how do you play long distance and make a game of it ... every game and is that fun and a in depth gaming experience ? People complain about snipers on a daily so when I see someone tell me to fight from a long distance , I just carry a bucket for the tears that will come afterwards . These people need to put the resources into this game to help it to become what it should have been after three years running now . Stop delaying it and gather the resources that Dust needs for at least three months . Stop milking the community and get to work and fix this . There is no way to fight long distant every match and be efficient without sniping and even that is a task in it's self ( I'm not complaining about sniping , even though it seems like the sway has been turned up a bit . ) and if your running with a squad how is this possible unless like someone else mentioned , you just have to never play alone . In cqc 1v1 duals, strafe behind a piller mid-fight, your low recharge time will add a few chunks of health that you need to finish your enemy, and is a perfect time to reload! Compliment the State weaponry! Use RR and MagSec together, one for range and one for close quarters, the MagSec is like an ARR with a chopped off barrel. Use ARR and Bolt Pistol, for the exact same reasons above. A secret to make the Calmando good, use an ARR and a RR, maximise shield regen and regulators. You find yourself a cool beast to march along with the blue berry group, taking out reds with the natural damage mods the suit provides and the effectiveness at all ranges. HAIL TO THE STATE! My Boots yearn to crush clones brought to my feet from my Rifle. Tell me where to go to fulfill their request.

Flank, catch them off guard, heavy handed first hit what ever you have to do to avoid having to brawl it out. Since ewar is screwed, fill those highs with damage mods. Rail rifle & range = quick easy kills. Do it right & they'll never jnow where it came from. If your race is caldari, starter fits are best friends. Frontline has mlt arr (no charge time), bolt pistol (op sidearm) & an uplink (guarenteed wp's)all for the price of free. Flip little isk & throw that damage mod & a ferroscale, call it good. Evening Boys, Hows the water?
