they're pub matches. And I think the daily missions are a good start towards incentivizing not quitting.
But remember please, and never allow this to change: DUST and EVE are sandboxes (even if DUST is a tiny little dirty catbox compared to EVE). And player choice is something to be preserved and allowed for.
I have played a few very uneven matches today as well. But since the event started (and the daily missions were changed) I've noticed a perceptible decrease in the frequency of such.
Yes, keep it up, CCP. Based on your data please continue to make it a good choice to remain in matches while not forcing behavior and choices upon players.

I had one where I was only 1 of 3 up against 10+
They were pulling out tanks and **** too
I stole two kills and a madrugar by sneaking up with F45s and Wiyrkomi AV nades
I should've had a second too but somehow the driver suicided it
I had the most WP in the whole ******* match, either side, it was aggravating but fun
I Love running demo squad
I <3 introducing reddots to ragdoll physics!

Ive left 20 battles = NO F $CLING. F $CMS GIVEN. Why can't the ******* good players be restricted from playing against the low much players. The match making is just a slap across the ******* face. Back then it was awesome. Now the devs mess up all the shiny f2f CCP

When i played hawken the system ask players to change teams to balance the match, but i don' t believe here players would change sides if that system could be implemented in first place.

It would just be nice if the game ran worth while .
Victory freezes , hard freezes , 2 frames per sec , hit detection not registering , ghost firing rail weapons , blue flashes , terrain glitches , rendering issues and others among a list and for me , if the game ran worth a dam , I would give money because it would look like your trying to do something .
There's a lot of bugs in the game and those are my only real issues .
Played a game where I seen a guy spawn in the floor and that wasn't the first time that happened .
My only issues are with the performance .
Edit : It amazes me that people act crazy about some leaving matches , I mean .. I could go on but I won't out of respect for the OP and CCP because I love the game but ... add on poor map rotation .

This is a good idea for pubs if you ask me.
I always assumed that pubs were some futuristic bloodsport on some decadent gallente cable network, it would make sense if they sought to balance the team for increased entertainment value of those tuning in
