I believe this game is working as intended (despite a lot of lag in some areas) this game was created to make a sort of RL environment, because all of the elements are there, teamwork, deception, communities, and or families. CCP made this game free to play so we can have the experience at a good FPS game and create a community, now some of CCP ideas have been questionable, but I believe in the next year or so this game could become a great game. Granted I have only been playing this game since open beta it has come a long ways, so just think to yourself "why am I getting mad at a free game" and "why am I getting mad at for something I bought in game and the game lags out?" its a free game if you are buying something in game even though the game is free you shouldn't be getting mad at CCP they are doing there best to keep this game alive plus it is your fault for buying it knowing that it lags so don't blame them.
My opinion, I like this game it is the only game that actually challenges me and that is very rare.

Yes the game is working as intended.
NPE is miserable to the point of forcing new players to either pony up some cash to compete or leave the game totally.
The amount of money which can be sucked out of a whale is all but unlimited and growing withe very update to the game.
Server bills are kept low by having "connection issues" any time we reach 3000 people online at once.
Players can have real money items stolen in a rigged gifting system meaning they have now given money with zero benefit ever to be had.
++ Remove NPC orbitals from FW -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest ++
