Today even when I decided to spam a little proto I found myself unable to stop just rushing into situations that were guaranteed to get me killed.
APEX suits are a powerful drug which will permanently alter your brain chemistry in battle if used enough. Use them wisely mercs.

I can't remember the last time I ran a straight up APEX. All of my LP APEX suits are fit relatively properly. They're my go to Pub suits. I could definitely see how the all BPO version would be mind altering however, I just hate dying that much, haha.

I got use to running them as is in the time before they were able to be edited. The only changes I have made is swapping in quafe weapons, an mo-4 on my dominus, and a few equipment changes. Unless we are being proto stomped I still generally average out to the 1.00 k/d area except when I go scout and go horribly negative.

I bought most of the BPO infantry modules and all Amarr/Minmatar standard bpo's because I hate the idea of Apex suits. But that's probably just my twisted way of thinking that CCP won't take my bpo's away from me if they were bought with real money.

Confirming this, bought a Centurion commando off the player market for that nice PLC/ Burst AR combo

Took a break then school started, I give more attention to ugly ass people than I do my ps3. Plus I'm currently looking for a job so I can get a car to get to and from school/work(if I every find one) so my mom can stop worrying about picking me up. I'll be back soon just don't know when.

I am particularly scrubbed up thanks to buying everyone of my imperial BPOs the day they came out. It worked out so perfect that they announced 5 of them coming out and I already had 500k LP in the bank.

Once I've got the SP to go Advanced I'll probably drop/sell most of them, but for now I am fine being the scrubbiest scrublord to have ever scrubbed a tub. I'm looking to get an Amarr Commando soon, too.
It's happened once or twice someone couldn't pay the price, and I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals.

Very tempting...but, I do not wish to go back to being an APEX scrub  I just sold my APEX, i finally have money, since Dreis won't pay me the 50mil he owes.

Actually with tiered suits getting replaced by power cores APEX suits will become nothing more than a middle ground between standard and advanced.

What about modified basic suits? Mlt ARR has no recoil, so slapping on a couple krins & a ferroscale to a cal frontline instantly turns it into a beast. Or even a medic suit, basic frame with light weapon, sidearm & 2 equipment slots. Play with some pg/cpu mods & you can get some really interesting combos for dirt cheap.
