for noobs. Lower Mu bracket players can have it, but obviously get rid of it for the rest. Easy way to increase TTK slightly without endless nerfing.
That is all.

As long as the bolt pistol gets nerfed to the ground... I'm ok with this.

But if you strengthen aim assist some noobs would exploit it besides starter fits were bumped enough during the last major update in July no need for more buffing. If you want to get better just practice or join a beginner corp or not the choice is up to you

There's a reason it exists.

Fine, leave it as is for newer players, remove it for vets.

And here you create an inconsistent aiming experience, which is a *BIG* no no.
Aiming is about muscle memory, if you suddenly turn off a part of the aiming mechanics then you have to relearn your muscle memory.

this doesn't make any sense mate, coming from the guy who talks the least sense on these forums. then players would create new players just for this advantage.

Even if CCP gave Auto Aim for newbies they wouldn't kill a thing. I don't know how bad can someone be at games but Dust players prove they are the worst (newbies)

I still remember the days without aim assist, crushing hoards of newbies who couldn't hit me. You would only be hurting new players, the veterans will just be crushing everything harder and faster. Well designed controls have you fight the enemy, not the controls themselves.
This and also because of non-invasive lag compensation (reason why PC FPS are starting to introduce some kind of Aim Assist, like bullet magnetism). There are way too many advantages of having AA that cannot be ignored.
People always complained about Min assault lag-strafe because sometimes you just couldn't hit them. Now, without AA it would have been even worse and if AA was taken away now, any suit could possibly be immortal using the same technique-
so, no. AA must stay. After all, it's not as strong as many people says.
