You're clearly new to the game if you think 1 dampener solves all lol Someone running four focused doesn't have full time scans, so you don't need to get to 16, and if getting scanned is detrimental to your playstyle that you must not be scanned while running a logo or assault suit, you can always damp up and be butter soft but scan proof. Those guys are the conservatives of dust and we sir are liberals looking for beter gameplay. You shouldn't have to squad to get even a half decent game.

I play with a scout and I get scanned but that doesn't really bother me. If they try to hunt me I usually wait on a corner and they get a shotgun to the face lol. I'm not giving up my precious HP for a little damping.

One complex precision reveals all but scouts and dampened medium and up ( leaving you with a hp advantage ) so try one you'll be surprised. Ambush should have never had squads... Ambush=no prep It's a team based game yes but YOU ARE ON A TEAM... You just don't get to share passive's and score way more wp.

Pubs never benefited from squads once factional took off ( would have happened sooner if it was the only place squads where allowed... Oh and PC ) A lot of players would never run full proto solo let alone officer.
