Hello my CPM 2 members and fellow Dust 514 forum huggers. It has come to my attention a couple flaws in the game that I would like help having fixed. Posting in general discussions a topic like this generally gets bashed.
For the past three or more update I been noticing more issues with render speed in maps, red line placement, increased lag only in certain maps, and an odd amount of damage being dealt by any weapon that kills a player.
For the first issue map rendering has caused a multiple of problems lately. People are driving vehicles into invisible barriers and causing the player to become at a disadvantage to opponents or it simply makes them commit suicide. Also the render speed doesn't only affect vehicles. Infantry units that are trying to run into a city complex get stuck in place and have to wait for it to finish rendering. Then in our update Warlords 1.1 units won't even render at a specific distance. So when people are sniping or hiding in the hills the person is completely invisible to the opponent. I find that as an unfair disadvantage because it is a one way system. The person that doesn't render normally can still see the people in the opposite direction. The rendering speed also tends to cause a lag spike when everything goes from block shape to their finely detailed forms. There will also be instances there is a wall that doesn't render to the opponent and they are able to shoot through it as if it doesn't exist. I would like this to be more looked into.
The second issue is red line placement. The red lines of a mad are normally concrete of their location, but lately they are moved once a week so that it is easier for people to hide in the edge of the red line or that the opponents farms the edge. This tends to frustrate players that are being farmed for points or make it difficult to terminate a player that is being a nuisance by running in and out from safety like a clown fish to an anemone. Then in other maps like the supply depot or train stop map as people call it the red line will run a long line in the middle of the map saying danger and the time limit. In acquisition I find it interesting the red line can shift on key maps but the spawn location should move. Making it so people spawn in the red zone isn't fair to the player.
In key maps there are lag issues. I know it isn't my internet because I tested that by playing higher graphic-ed games in larger areas with less lag on my PS3. The gallente lab facility is infamous for its lag issues. I think the largest reasons for the lag is that CCP like making actual lights in objects. Each light has to render and cause a shadow. The lights should be reduced to allow less of that data being shoved through the server of showing a shadow by a light post under the MCC. If there were night maps it would make sense but 95% of the current maps are in will lit daylight.
Finally lately there has been an odd amount of damage being displayed in the death screen. I was killed by a militia sniper rifle with a head shot for 1 damage. Then I get killed by an assault HMG for 10k damage in a suit that only had 600 hit points. I had someone send me mail calling me a hacker because my NT 511 sniper rifle supposedly did over 20k damage with a head shot. If a weapon does that mush damage how would that be possible without in game errors occurring?

Regarding the red line issue, it sounds like you were playing Acquisition. Acquisition is a new(er) game mode where the redline does move sometimes when the point moves locations. This redline moves for EVERYONE, so you can't "hide" in the redline. If you stay in it, you die.
I suspect if you're spawning just at the moment before the redline moves, you can get inadvertently spawned in the redline, but it shouldn't happen normally.

It doesn't happen normally but there is still the option to spawn in the red zone. I know it takes a fool to do it, but not all the players on Dust are the brightest.
