A basic shield extender is 33 HP and 3pg. Not bad. Enhanced extenders are 50 hp and 6pg. Would have expected that it would be 66 hp for 6 pg(because my neat freak disorder)
But complex extenders are 66hp for 11pg!?!? That's a huge slap in the face to caldari suits who are already pretty low in pg.(wait rail weapons eat up pg too)
And if you have the sp for proto sheild regulater thingies.(the ones that reduce the delay)
Why is it only 30%(if I remember correctly) ? Shouldnt it be 40-50%? I mean I spent sp on it just like all my other cores. So why does it feel really limited?
There isn't much of a point in fitting triple regulators like most sheild suit users say to do if everyone is running a scrambler or explosive weapon or just something with enough range to disrupt the recharge.
I've had fights with assault ck.0s who were running triple regulators and they never managed to charge enough of their shields in time because of one measly little burst scrambler pistol tagging them repeatedly. The point is,out of all the proto suits,I have never run into a caldari assault that I never even batted an eye and engaged without fear. Pretty much all of the caldari suits are just tanked with armour and sheilds,I run into the rare triple regulator combo rarely and the fight feels like I'm gunning down another milita suit.
Point is,caldari suits are terribley limited in their chosen hp tank. It's either tank armour so that flux grenade doesn't totally screw you over in a objective push. Or triple stack regulators and hop that the other guy has bad enough aim so that sheilds can regen.
So I have here two petitions.
One is for complex sheild extenders to cost only 9pg,giving more fitting options to the caldari.
And the other is for sheild regulators to reduce sheild delay by 40-50% at proto level(40% is perfect,I have a spare slot for a range extender or kincat) If anyone here runs sheilds and would like to see these small but lifesaving buffs implemented go ahead and sign.

-30% delay is pretty good.
If it were 50, even with the stack penalty, they'd have insane levels of recovery. As in, Less than half a second (probably not depleted, though, since Extenders have a penalty).

I did say 40-50%, compromise best to start with the lows before you try to use the highs. Plus armour is always repairing itself. At least be nice to Shields. I'm trying to be even though I run speed/armour tactics(fast running suits with stock armour/bonus 25% with high rep speeds.) 40% is about right. Stick on two regulators an you have Bout the effect of three giving a spare low slot for kincats or range extenders/profile damps
