Today I saw 2 players (Hiddendeath50 Integ and another one with the second name 'Integ') constanly hacking the same Blaster Installation. Clearly cheating, since they are obviously not of the same team. These, and other people using this "tactic" are assholes.
When I saw the act and went to attack the one ******* I could kill, obviously the other ******* on my team didn't do anything 'cept hide. When the Blaster Installation killed me (they got it figured: they hack the Installation so it shoots when somebody from the other team is near) they could keep doing it until the match was over.
I almost got him though, he had maybe 10-15% of his Armor HP left. Alas, to no avail.
Please CCP, this needs to be addressed. Players, do not accept this behaviour and hunt them down... |

Four words you'll learn to live by.
Welcome to New Eden.
It's not a nice thing, I'll agree with you there, but things like that are extremely common across New Eden, and this game will likely be no different. |

I had this weird bug where I could hear the other team threw no fault of my own, it turns out you shouldn't pick a server mutiple times as it queues you up and throws your voice coms to another team in the same game or a different game...At the time I talked to a gentleman I did not know and we agreed to go hack a blaster back and forth....It really is not profitable, killing infinite spawn LAVs threw assists in a tank can net you up to 300,000 SP. It's interesting to find every nook and cranny of this game. |

I'm an EVE-online noob. Mainly just training skills and doing some mining. I can understand the fact that a lot of diverse 'tactics' exist within the massive universe that is EVE Online.
This is the MMO FPS counterpart. Battles are fought until they are over, having a maximum ~30 minutes play time in each battle. This is Dust 514, if more people start doing this, it will ruin many battles. Whereas in EVE Online this does not affect/frustrates a lot of players, relatively speaking.
Going for objectives and encouraging teamwork must be emphasized more in Dust 514. I understand that in EVE Online you can have loners who have mutually benificial relationships while 'working against' other people of their corporation/friend list.
But not here. |

But you will, and it will happen. Spies, infiltrators. Just watch at launch (or even beforehand) the people who'll snipe a team mate from behind while Friendly Fire is turned on. Whether it's to help the other team win, and get paid to do it, or just to grief a team mate who's playing music too loudly over comms, etc. It will happen.
Collaborating with the enemy is both a way of life to some people, and an art for a few.
Personally, I agree that it should be discouraged, but I doubt it will be removed entirely. dulls the Player-driven environment of EVE / DUST... One Universe... One War. |

This does bring up a good point.
What is in place to prevent two corporations from declaring a mock war? Then they have some agreement to all run to the same spot on the map and make sure you each get as many kills as deaths or all meet up at specific hack locations and hack back and forth --- whichever generates more SP/isk per action.
Corporate fake wars for SP farming? What is in place to stop it? |

The game just needs some gentle deterrents against this sort of thing. Any repeatable action should stop awarding points when it's obvious to TACNET that it's not actually helping the team. Give the game some logic that identifies stat padding behavior.
Hacking the same objects back and forth between two players? No more points after the second hack.
Battlefield style stat padding with revive syringe, buddy, and consenting enemy soldier? Have fun with that, no more points after the second revive/kill cycle. |

Upfront I'd like to remind you: each of our char's SP and ISK will be wiped after beta concludes. Last night, as well as over the course of the next few nights, we have/will-be calculating SP/min on turret swapping vs. objective destroying focused play vs. anti-infantry style playing. A post will be created by us in hopes to assist in balancing the game. As a side note, I appreciate the concern you have and encourage you to continue to report such things so they can be investigated. |

If someone does something like this in High sec I doubt anyone will care.
If someone does this in Null sec where maps matter I am sure the corp the people belong to would take care of their actions.
I do not want a game mechanic to control things that people themselves can set rules for and control. |
