The manual post that Vehicles is not prebuilded, it's manufactured from BPC, so maybe the solution for "limit the tank" issue will be the queue for request, and manufacturing slots, with some prebuilded before battle - not limit itself. |

I have to disagree. I know that being on foot against multiple tanks on the current maps can be overwhelming, especially when your team puts no real effort into killing them effectively. I also know, however, that two tanks can be taken out in about 30 seconds by an effective counter; including a skilled tank pilot or a couple of units with forge guns/swarm launchers.
The answer isn't fewer tanks, it's better teamwork.
That being said, I do think that using tanks and other vehicles should be a little more of a speciality. |

Most uncoordinated tank drivers will be a bit overconfident, especially the T2 ones and will sometimes rush up into heavy enemy territory with little to know support. i found i can take down a sargaris with 5 shots of a forge gun. its not hard if you know what you are doing |

That, or quit running in front of the tank, shooting it with your small arms. Forge gun/Swarm launchers work fine for demolishing tanks.

Bad bad idea. If a side spans tanks, then the opposing force should field spam forge guns, tanks or swarms. Maybe an over all vehicle limit like 50% of teams force. But 1? |

My team today had the infinite number of tanks, we were all trying to get to A and the entire team had Swarm launchers and Forge guns propped on top of the Ridge lines and everywhere else....suffice to say these high end Marauders were not making it threw.
Tanks are rare sight at times because of the SP and ISK intensive cost of them. They may seem strong but they go down very easily when someone has a anti tank weapon.
People are going to have to start carrying forge guns,swarm launchers and a secondary weapon with them at all times if they want to take them on.

I understand that seeing so many tanks can be "frighting", or even boring, and that sometimes Dust 514 might feel like a all vehicles game but I would like to reassure you that variety is going to happen.

Why do you want a Balance? When a one team is way better than the other then why shouldn't they overroll them with tanks? Or do you think eve Battles are unbalaced because the arn't the same amount of ships on both sides. Yes its Unfair. That's new eden deal with it. |

In EVE space ins't a concern but in FPS numbers makes the difference: 7 mercs vs 24 will have hard times to control the territory no matter how you put it...not to mention that TDM is simply a carnage with unbalanced teams. Also in Eve you can flee a battle: here fleeing = quitting. What works in EVE doesn't necessarily work in Dust 514.
That said vehicle limitation is not necessary but balance is. |

In highsec/battle moons, sure.
When it comes to low sec/0.0/corp battles though, you make do with what you can. You can't limit an opposing team simply on the fact that they an field more people than you. Rather, it is down to you whether or not you hire people to help, recruit more people or throw in the towel (or possibly even fight. You never know, you may win ).
The arguement works both ways. Why should an alliance, who has worked hard and put a lot of money in to obtaining its assets, be limited in its numbers simple because the attackers/defenders can not bring their own numbers to bare?
On the OP, no. No vehicle limits please. If you have worked to gain the SP to train, and the ISK to buy the vehicles, why should you be limited on what you can have simply due to what another member of your team has? |

^^^ Well, low/null sec is another story: that is player's choice vs player's choice. Still even then there could be limitations in place: a big corp might not be able to wage war on small corp and make direct confrontation inevitable, some balance/basic condition might be required even in low/null sec simply because the FPS mechanics are different than the ones in EVE.
Anyway the number of players per battle will be limited in Dust: I doubt CCP will be able to achieve the scope of EVE 2500 Vs 2500 battles...at least in the next 5-6 years. |

Totally disagree. The army with the most tanks/vehicles will win the war. I'm sure if you have a team, you don't have to fight in official matches to get some ISK and save up for a couple of tanks.
More tanks, the merrier! |
