Like replacing weapons in the dropsuit fittings menu, why cant it be just as easy to swich your dropsuit instead of having to delete and create a new fitting? |

I think you're saying you want to change weapons on the same exact dropsuit your using? You can. Select edit when you choose that dropsuit in your fitting area.
On a side note: When skimmed your post, I thought maybe you were talking about a "copy dropsuit" option. That way you wouldn't have to go and reselect all items and make the process a little faster due to the current issue of slow load times. That seems like a good idea, actually.
PS. When you post, make it as clear as possible next time, please and thank you. |

example: im upgrading from assult dropsuit A to a better suit, assult dropsuit B ,i want to keep my fitting modules, weapons etc the same but switch out my old suit for the new one like swiching a gun in the edit menu(replace) but instead i have to delete the whole load out create a new one with the new dropsuit and then reselect all the fitting mods and weapon. It's tedious and time consuming when i just want a quick switch from old suit to new suit with everything the same that was on the old one. |

Ah. Yeah, I see now.
It would make sense to do that, but here's where the problem lies. You fully deck out a prototype/advanced suit. Decide to change dropsuits, you select militia or standard and now you have to replace all your mods/weapons/etc anyway. Less CPU/PG would make them default back to empty. Same with if you change from proto assault suit to proto heavy suit. Different high/low slots and heavies can't use equipment to begin with. So something along the same line of, there is another problem that will arise if you are allowed to change suits.
The only time that it would be useful and wouldn't mess with your fit, would be when you move from standard => advanced => prototype of the exact same suit.
Sorry, this is just the way things are. |
