What he said. The Marduk is for solo tankers The madrugar is for team tankers.

Marduk is a one person tank, whereas the mighty Madrugar is three to a tank. Less people, not as much is needed. I use Madrugar anyways.

Madrugar is actually much better because of how fitting mods work (assuming you use them). Since they're multiplicative, the higher base of the madrugar gives more. Also with some turret fitting skills, you net more anyway.
The solo tanks are for when you don't want blueberries in your tank, but I personally don't mind when I have them.

Marduck has no small turret slots. Though you lose a massive amount of PG/CPU.
There is absolutely NO reason to use it, you just gimp yourself for no good reason. Stick with the maddie, it's better all around. Just throw basic smalls on it and you will have more CPU/PG than the Marduck. |

I like the solo HAV's , I run solo so for the most part it helps me and yes you loose some PG / CPU and some extra firepower , not having capable gunners hurt a HAV user with turrets more then riding solo does IMO , meaning ... when I use to tank and ride in Gunnies and Maddies , I would always get gunners that fire at everything but the enemy .
The air , the MCC , the ground and other team mates and then spend all the ammo that was suppose to be for confrontations and speaking of those , how they would automatically jump out at the first sign of trouble , some would just sit there for the ride not shooting at anything , other HAV's , forgers or swarm users , I mean ... would just sit there and I would have a MCRU on board so if their just sitting there doing nothing , that CRU is useless and so are those turrets .
I love solo HAV's , most people don't but most run in squads with players that they know and not random players , it's hard to keep being burned by people who are suppose to help but use your vehicle to AFK in .
I can count on one hand how many times I have had decent gunners in any of my vehicles be they DS's or HAV's and I use MCRU's just to try and support .
It makes the effort moot when players just AFK and their stopping others from entering the game as well .

unless you have an idiot who shoots at turrets as you drive by and shoots at a tank you are trying to sneak up on to soon.
HINT to noobs: wait until the driver shoots at turrets or tanks unless the tank comes up behind. Which by the way is where you should be looking if you are in the top gunner seat.

The solo tank is CCP's answer to tank locking. I do like that at least there is some option for preventing people from jumping in the small turret seats and then still having an option for running small turrets without the big fitting costs.
However, I run the small turrets and like having people use the small turrets. Also, I hate that the solo tank isn't what was originally thrown around as being a faster tank. I really think it should be faster and more maneuverable.
According to Soraya Xel, known tankophobe (vehiclephobe) he small team tank should be a force multiplier. I disagree; the team tank should be, and is, an offensive tank while the solo tank with it's speed is a defensive tank. As is the solo tank is useless (except for preventing ppl getting in it) rather than different.
Let's get it right this time!

Literally no point.
Maddy has more fitting than a Marduk, and when you get turret fitting ops, it just enlarges the gulf.
Sure!you get stuck with blueberries, but if you are running small blasters for fitting they won't stick around long.

I know right .?. sometimes I would just drive by installations that were red , I know I didn't have to fire a shot because the turret was rotating away but nope , one of my gunners would just fire at it and attract it's attention or like you mentioned about giving position away , I've has that happen too many times but when I'm on someone else's turret I wait like you mentioned until the driver fires , unless I'm on the top turret and we're being snuck upon my another HAV from behind and the driver isn't aware ... I would shoot at that HAV then in hopes of the driver becoming aware but for the most part , there need to be a class on turret use .
Most just don't get it .

Madrugar all the way. More pg/cpu, all what matters.
When you drive around blueberry will almost never jump in.
