Mcrus are balls in FW or PC. You have to come to a complete stop to let people out or they die when the go to bail.

Yeah Mobile CRu's are pretty useless unless they have been patched recently. First off there are no higher levels available so your always stuck with 10 second spawns, which crap out if the vehicles get full. So on tanks or Lav's you can be waiting to spawn and suddenly it cuts out saying the MCRU is offline.
DS because they have more seats isn't quite as bad but like some one said if you bail while the DS is moving there is a pretty high chance you'll be road killed mid air by your own vehicle. Not to mention unless you have voice chat with the pilot you can't see squat from the passenger seats and have no idea where your bailing at.
But the biggest problems with MCRU's are they were glitched last I checked. The only people that can see them as a valid spawn point are people who's clones have been terminated via enemy action or their timer has ended. That means when most people look to spawn in as soon as possible they won't even see a vehicle's MCRU as an option.
Plus they take up a high slot and use a decent amount of CPU/PG. Not a huge issue for a drop ship but few tanks want to sacrifice their survivability to act as a mobile spawn beacon for the few people who can even see it.

Pro tip for any noobs out there:
When attacking an objective (especially when ninja-hacking it), ALWAYS HACK THE CRU FIRST. This will allow teammates seeing what you're doing to help you as well as prevent enemies from spawning once you hack the objective.

Yeah,i was defending objective in FW,near that objective there were CRU and some sombrero Pablo Fernandez from Dioses of Eden really wanted to hack that CRU in his full proto caldari assault,he lost his suit 5 times from my Gallente STD sent with lvl 3 skill. Seems those CRU's are magnets for Mexicans

Pro Tip #2:
CRU's have passive scanners on them as well.
If you see a CRU with red dots all around it, DON'T SPAWN ON IT.

They're usually far out of the way from where I want to go, and in FW there's *always* a damp scout around a CRU waiting to clip you

I've had it happen where I selected a HAV with a MCru and it actually spawned me outside the HAV.

I do focus on CRUs and turrets that are good at defending the objective in domination,
It is baffling when the blueberries do not seem to notice a turret blowing the **** out of all their teammates,

I could be wrong but I think that's only when a person with a mobile cru has no small turrets at all. If their just full it stops your timer far as I know. Only explanation I can give for the messages saying MCRU is offline and then you see it go active again on the same vehicle a few seconds later.

The CRU in my opinion is something that was poorly thought out.
First off a MCRU is not a Mobile version of a CRU.
The MCRU is more like an uplink for vehicles.
The CRU has a massive amount of Biomass that allows you to create more clones. The weird thing is that that's not it's purpose. The huge installation is basically a heavily armored Standard Uplink. Which to me is completely stupid.
If we had the resources and we had it my way the MCRU would be renamed Mobile Uplinks while the CRUs not only acted as an upink but supplied a team with an additional "x" amount of clones.
The Biomass from that CRU would be the first to be expended before taking clone reserves from the employer's stock itself.

It just occurred to me : make spawning from Crus or mobile Crus cost no clones. Crus also generate clones over time

Yes I did. I was typing in a bit of a haste.
What I really mean is it feels like it just inflates clone values and complicates matches for newbies. I was not referring to dev resources.

It would almost be another game mode, or perhaps incorporate into normal Domination?
I.e (clone numbers just an example) - Match starts with only 50 clones on each side. - Each CRU will grant max 50 extra clones while its in possession of the team. - If the other team takes the CRU, the remaining clones will be granted to the new team. - When all clones are exhausted, the CRU will self destruct. - A new (or several?) are dropped on the battlefield with regular interval, until a max number of clones are reached.
TDLR: Each team have 50 clones dedicated, and compete over a total pool of 200 clones.
This will break up the monotony of Domination since it is vital to capture and hold the CRUs as well. (It will not be possible to just camp the objective for the entire game unless you want to be cloned out... Fast) |

something like this should have been the game mode acquisition, you know acquiring these assets (CRUs) to increase your X
