The same battlefileds repeatedly gets pretty damn old
Some of the tweak/additions have been good with 3pt maps, I think we should aim for a set of maps that perform best then vary them with sockets+installations to try get the best performance out of battles and some varous maps to fight on :)
I'm pretty bad with individual names for some, but I think the older maps, Ashland / Manus Peak / Line Harvest could make excellent maps if they were adjusted a but more than the only change of being deployed on the opposite side.. I posted in the Outpost section on mapfeedback but I assume here gets more buzzers so here we are.
Line Harvest, modified with Cal/Gal Installations/Sockets.
Manus Peak, 5 point Skirmish (adjusted ground spawns/MMC's) varied structures ^ If 50% was not wasted in Redline, this map would be huge, maybe even a base for more than 32 players
Ashland, modified with Cal/Gal stuctures, along with replacing old buildings for the new versions you can enter
I think on all maps, we have a really good variation on maps and structures.. but a lot of it does not work well together adressing this and working on freshening battles up would be nice, PERFORMANCE should be no.1 *glares at GalLagLab* removes or vary these so we have what performs best, and regarding redline area's if structures causing issues REMOVE them!!
Any thoughts on Map changes?? *daydreams* Or Planetary Conquest map customization ???

Change color of sand to white, change sound of footsteps to a snow-like crunch sound, and make a white toxic mood (which I haven't seen in forever). Bam! Also, sprinkle the map with a few snowmen.

I would like something done regarding maps also. Not only would I like existing maps to be enhanced in some way, I would also really like to not have to play the same 2-3 maps over and over and over when I sit down to play Dust. I disagree with the OP in regards to structures/buildings and their removal, Iwould like to see a few well designed buildings on a few of the maps. I know this is Dust but I don't always want to play on too barren of landscapes.

The MCC Construction map that we had. I like that map because it just shows 1 big socket/area = Great if not Awesome Performance. I even played Skirmish on that map but instead the MCC site it was the Gallente Research Lab Facility and it had 3 points. A was at that choke point where the supply depot was, B was at the bridge part, and C was at the bottom almost outside. 3 points = the hacks changed really fast = quick pace fighting in CQ and no Lag at all.
My purpose to the Devs is make the Gallente Research Facility appear in the 1 big socket maps ONLY and NO small sockets.
Why did the white girl cross the road? To get to Starbucks. <-- My GF will kill me if I ask her that lol :)
