At last fanfest Ratman mentioned that he would like and might be possible to get some rather basic Ai into the game so we could have drones... hopefully ones to shoot at for target practice.....
I imagine possible PVE contracts even....
Is this something that is still being investigated, being actually worked on or now classed as not possible?
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)

Cheers man, Its one of things that in my opinion could open up more game modes and add variety even if in a limited fashion and help the game along.

Breakin, When you talk to rattati (if he replies in the positive) could you ask if the AI that applies to installations in game could be adapted to the drone?
This would also allow something slightly more than a shooting range.
Also will you actually be able to tell us any of his answers? lolNDA

If the current Dev team manage some kind of breakthrough on the development of the Drones, I'm pretty sure that they will probably keep it secret from the community for about three or four minutes, tops (I may or may not be prone to exaggeration). So currently the word is: Drones are not in the cards at this time.
If that changes I will immediately badger, annoy and generally drive people insane until they announce something.
