what are they used for?
what amount is useful to someone?
would somebody buy a corp just for it's CP? how much CP would you want a corp to have before you bought it and what price would you pay?
I have all my characters in the same corp so gaining CP is coming along nicely but I want to know if someone else can do something with it, I won't be forming a proper corp and won't be doing PC by myself. |

Cp is used yo initiate PC now you can only get a max of 100,000 cp and its only used to initiate PC attacks so really its useless to you. |

I'm in the same boat as you.
So I have a few thousand CP which I can't do anything with haha.
At least let me trade them for salvage crates as I don't have nearly enough. |

hmm
well you get a clone pack when u get X amount of cp. so the price of ur corp would have to be less than the price of a clone pack.
someone wana gimme some numbers here? how much does a clone pack cost? how many cp required? this could be an interesting way for non pc players to earn some extra isk.

CP are an alternative to buying clone packs for PC. You need 25k cp to purchase the starter pack.

A non district holding corp with 25,000 cp can spend that amount to launch a PC battle against a district of their choosing.
As mentioned above, no corp can hold more than 100k cp at once.
So, regarding the query of: how much could you sell a corp with a big cp balance for, demands a value of how much a PC battle is worth?
DUST players - we need to figure this out! What is the Isk value of a single CP
If we can determine that then we can begin to finance a different kind of warfare in dust...a whole new play style that will threaten the big district holding corps.
And small non-land holding corporations are the key to this approach.
Can a small corp profit from a PC raid? How, through what tactics? Can we make it very simple and cheap? The goal should be to launch a PC attack and make a profit. Profit means earning more isk than you expend in gear and battle costs.
If anyone has done this and can reproduce it we would love to hear your feedback. |

I'll sell my corp for less than a clone pack just to be of use to someone, once I have 5k more CP
if it's profitable which it should be, let's introduce something new to the meta game, then I'll do it again! |
