So, many people have an issue with the warbarge's passive generation of assets and the resultant alt farming
My proposal is is to use the existing material salvage assets (burnt relay node, etc) as the drivers of this generation
Each type corresponding to a specific module isk, sp, experimental etc
Warbarge level affects reprocessing efficiency, getting more from the same inputs (and therefore gives an incentive to upgrade)
Materials are fully tradeable and all, bar the experimental, can be bought for Aur. This means if you've got enough sp you can trade those source materials for damage source materials

There was a lot of discussion about this some time ago.
One idea was that the personal warbarge should have some kind of fuel requirement in order to maintain its operation. Just like the control towers in Eve Online which require a steady supply of fuel to operate at all. This eliminates passive generation and makes it that much harder to alt farm.
PS: I suggest getting rid of the AUR part from the warbarge and revise the cost of the warbarge components needed to unlock, upgrade, and claim.

Also I want a Minmatar Warbarge. It's just a still image with some flashing lights, surely it's not too much to ask for?
I would like a Gallente SMG.

I agree. Right now Warbarges turn time into assets. This being a F2P shooter people have time in spades and therefor start farming assets.
I'd prefer a system where warbarge components are gained only through end-of-match salvage or daily missions and are then used as both the building material and fuel for warbarge operation. |

Your idea is fine, Juno!
But I don't think it should be used to change anything currently going on with the warbarge. Anyone who's upset with the personal-warbarge doesn't understand (or doesn't like) that this is MEANT to be an EVE-style farming device. EVE-Online has quite a thorough set of "passive" asset-generating things you can play around with in the game. It took a while for Dust mercs to have one of our own, and finally we do. I don't endorse "redesigning" anything about the barge.
But there's LOTS of expansion room for the personal-warbarge systems in the future, and I think yours is a cool candidate. Hopefully, the devs are adding this to their list.
