You are an idiot. There's no way around saying that. This is a beta, so if anyone deals with balance testing, three gueses who it will be. Just to save you the strain, that would be US. Check this entitlement bullshit at the door kiddo, you're a tester. You don't get to demand things like this.
EDIT: Earlier I was on my phone in a waiting room. Now I've got an actual keyboard so allow me to elaborate a bit on this subject instead of the rather terse response I was able to tap out earlier.
Now, yes, I called you an idiot. Internet diplomacy requires that someone start screaming ad hominem at some point hereafter, but this was unavoidable. See, what you've done here is an act of idiocy, and I'll elaborate on that in detail in a moment, and as such you've earned the title that goes with such an action. If you were not worthy of the aforementioned "idiot" moniker, you would not have engaged in said actions in the first place. In other words, if the shoe fits...
So what's the big deal here?
- This is a beta, not "the game"
- As such, we are not owed any kind of experience, we are here to make sure the game works and provides a good experience eventually
- We are expected to deal with broken things to help figure out how they should be fixed
- We can offer suggestions for how we think things might work better after we've extensively tested them, but only as suggestions. This isn't our game, it's CCP's game. They'll make it however they want.
- Said game will be free. You have to be a selfish prick to have entitlement issues over something you're not paying a cent for.
- We are already dealing with enough actual problems without having to worry about what you have imagined as a great crisis from a few seconds of video from a game conference
- Only an idiot would think you can balance anything that none of us have used, devised counter strategies for, tested to death
So yeah, you basically jumped head first into something you were talking out of your ass about. That means we have a problem, because you aren't here to test the game, you're here expecting a finished product and acting like a child that's been handed a broken toy on their birthday. What is that going to accomplish?
Well, it gets you labeled an idiot for starters, but it also bogs down the whole process here. These forums are to help us communicate to assist CCP in making this a truly unique game that we're hopelessly addicted to. There are people paid to scour these forums, collect a summary of what we're discussing, and bring it up at meetings. You've wasted their time, and all of ours by playing The Amazing Kushmir - Seer of the Future, and you should feel ashamed. |
