1.Being a PC Eve Pilot is a Isk sink. 2.Doing Ob support for your alliance has no built in reward mechanic like Faction Warfare LP gained for doing OBs.No Isk OR LP is gained from doing PC OB support with the built in mechanics. 3.Dust Corps can not give isk to Eve Pilots and in Eve Large amounts of Isk can be lost very quickly. 4.There is a system in molden Heath Sakulda were the locals care not for OB Pilots doing Support for your Alliances and Corps were they RANSOM the District for 30 million isk per PC Battle.Alot of OB Pilots try Eve to Support their Dust Corps and they are Low sp characters which means T1 Gear(Militia) Nerf Bat you Baseball Bat Him the result is expected. 5.So if you don't have a Suger Daddy in Eve you have to bring your own @#$% to the Battle and if you lose your @#$% that for you to replace. 6.Comunication which is cordination with Alliance Corps is hampered by you not knowning when their Battles are going to start and where they are going to start.Dotlan Maps is a all we have to TRY to find when and where the pc battles are going be and it is not always accurite. http://evemaps.dotlan.net/districts/Molden_Heath 7.What I do is Copy the INFO from Dotlan
Constellation SolarSystem DistrictSurface InfrastructureClones CorporationAllyReinforce Timer Almur Map Altbrard0.3 VI - 7 CH450 Ecce Initio RLC.Ecce Initio RLC.RUST03 AlmurMap Hedaleolfarber0.3III - 8PF150 / 300DEMONIAC BADDEMONIAC BADRUST 01 AlmurMap Sakulda0.3 V - 6 CH230 / 450 D3ATH CARDD3ATH CARD RUST22 AlmurMap Sakulda0.3 VI - 11PF300 DEMONIAC BADDEMONIAC BADRUST02 BesateodenMap Meildolf 0.3V - 6 PF200 / 300Ecce Initio RLC.Ecce Initio RLC.RUST01 ElfrardMap Klingt0.3 VI - 6 PF250 / 300WESKER COREWESKER CORERUST17 FittakanMap Oddelulf0.4 III - 1 CH230 / 450T-O-X-I-N T-O-X-I-NRUST03 TartatvenMap Muttokon0.2 II - 5 CH450 S.K.I.L.L OF G.O.D S.K.I.L.L OF RUST23 Then with Channel Moderator in Eve after I paste it in channel I right click on the system to give me the option to link it to the solar system.I change the colors of the text to help us see it then i hit ok to save it. This information is not seen by dust players but only Eve players that have access can see the information.Same Player made channel one just Text chat with voice and the other Text chat plus semi permanent Text with voice also.
1.So what I would like is for First Dust Mercs be treated as a Pirate Faction so Concord would Pay Bounties for Killing Molden Heath PC Ob Kills to generate some revenue in isk to the OB Pilots. 2.In Stuctures in Eve Mail ALL ALLIANCE PC Battles sould be available with timmers and Links to System planet and district. 3.Maybe a consoliated List like above with links to system planet district. Can anyone think of anything else? |

Hello, Luther. And what you've suggested here is very ambitious. ButGǪ.
Eve Online and its Capsuleers are the PARENT of the connection between EVE and Dust. Clone Mercs are the CHILD in the scheme. Capsuleers (who by the way, make ISK at a rate so far beyond anything Dust players make per week, that it's really hard to come up with something WE could profitably pay THEM for)GǪ are self sustaining, and self financing. They have an interest in us Clone Mercs only because we can be hired by them to conquer planets for them, and because we can entertain them by letting them shoot a round or two down into the clouds of one of their planets and have a Clone Merc report that it killed 3 PS3 players in the middle of their game .
Apart from that, there's nothing Capsuleers can be reward for by a Clone Merc. Even our most ISK-wealthy merc corp, fat with money from the Beta Years, GǪ. could be bought by a Capsuleer for the cost of 3 of her 24 battleships. EVE Online gives the word "rich" a whole different meaning from what's in a Dust corp's wallet.
We have nothing, nor can we afford to PAY the amount, we'd need to make a Capsuleer feel richer.
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...

Beacon Satellite Timer in Molden Heath no longer counts down from 3 minutes. It would be nice to know when the next OB Strike can be fired.Currently I look at a clock on my stove to see when 3 minutes are up then I try to get the Squadleader attention that a OB is ready. Problem Warbarge Strike Spam notification makes Mercs ignore when a strike is available. A Different Starship Strike notication would be nice so more drops could happen on the District.
Flux Ammo and Projectile Guns are not used in PC. 1.If Flux strike could hurt MCC maybe we would see some Thrashers with Guns and Flux ammo 2.How about the Starship Flux strike could make a enemy Null turrent inop for x amount of time,That way a team would have options(tactics) like fluxing enemy Null turrents |

The EVE/Dust PC link does suffer from lack of incentives, I was dropping OBs for Amarr FW over the weekend and the LP rewards do make it worth it
The biggest problem in my mind is we've never broken out of molden heath, it means you can't align alliance territory between space and planets
CCP need to grow some balls and make EVE PI conquerable by Dust mercs

I was thinking if there was a way to connect to alliance district to get some PI from it that would be nice. |

Yet Dust ISK is far more valuable than Eve ISK.
Right now at the low end, it's 10x the value of Eve ISK.
Seriously, port it.

Luther Mandrix, you get rewarded if you have POS'es around your corporation/alliance planet. Beside, droping OB is not privet mission and your CEO or alliance BOD should pay you for your effort on protecting district. If you do not know 'when' or 'where' next fight going on it's telling a lot about your corporation organisation skills..

So How does a Dust Corp Pay a EVE OB Pilot if the only EVE Character in the Dust Corp is the EVE OB Pilot? Dust characters can't give money to Eve characters. The EVE OB Pilot can't even talk to His own Dust Corpmates in Corp chat. You have to make a player created chat channel so Eve and Dust same corp can talk to each other. I am bringing this topic up so DEVs can make it better. |

Why would a single Eve OB Pilot that plays Eve to do OB support for his dust corp need a POS when He can just live in a Station like everyone else in Eve. NPC stations I didn't worry about someone blowing them up with my stuff like a POS used to be destructable. |

NPC stations I didn't worry about someone blowing them up with my stuff like a POS used to be destructable. So How does a Dust Corp Pay a EVE OB Pilot 1. Try to find guy on forum who buy Dust ISK and pay player back in Eve ISK for them. 2. Your corp can also made $ donation, gave it to you so you can buy plex from CCP or pay for month.
Why would a Dust Corp need a POS when it has no affect on the ground for them? Health of your wallet have affection on ground battles, but if you are alone in corp it is pointless to set up POS because you will not be able to protect it. Someone may want to join your corp to hire it but it would have to be very specific person, like local solo-pirate that is industralist or guy who like to do some local trading. IMO it is useless mechanic if we gone take in to account economic reasons..
live in a Station like everyone else in Eve. There are stations with short docking range out there that are not very helpful to live in, you basically dock out of them, count timer, and when you realize you are out of docking range and can not go back. I die twice because of it, once I even lose Revelation(learning if fun). Beside it is easiest way to find player to hunt. With your own POS you may feel safer at some circumstances: none will wait for you to undock from POS, you can warp when ever you want from shield, it takes some time and firepower to kill POS and you get email when someone starting to shoting it. You can also instal some turrtes on it, so it can protect itself... As always there are pros and cons of living everywhere, POS is a big subject and I'm not recommending you to try it before getting more familiar with eve mechanics.

not even. it's because the exchange rate is set by people with buttloads of cash in both games and they set the exchange rate based on the profits they feel would be worth the exchange
Hell, I have enough starting capital to do it on both sides.
