Ok look, I can no longer recommend this game due to the lack of... lack of time put into this game. FIRST off you need to fix the Bons' Shot Guns.. I have 1702 hp on a ak.0 heavy ( This is my tank fit, All i put is plates and extenders ) and its STUP!D because I get 3 SHOT! 3 F@@@ING SHOT and I die... You need to fix the Bons'. Dust is dieing for many reasons THIS being one of them. Matter of fact I woundn't mind if you removed ALL officer weapons buuuuuut atm the Bons' is the main problem.
Ask your CPM's -________________- LOL I bet CCP won't even look at this post, and if they do well I wanna see them fix it. o/

The Bon's are quite powerful. There has been talk of PC being played with no Bon's. Kind of reminiscent of the the flaylock armistice in PC that existed when that was OP as.

Out of all the things you could complain about (The massive amount of glitches such as dying in the red line too soon, getting stuck on terrain, falling through the map, dying randomly, lag, etc...) you pick an officer shotgun to rail on?  It's a shot gun. It's supposed to kill you quickly at close range. Tanked or not, three shots for a shotgun to take out a single unit is high as ****.

Add lag and that people are using medium and even heavy suits to offset the whole point of the shotgun being an alpha damage weapon and it becomes a noticable problem among other problems with balance lately.

I'm surprised you're not complaining about the nova knives. Those things can kill you in two charged stabs even against a tanked up fitting you use for your heavy. Hell, I even destroyed HAVs with these knives. God forbid you ever run into me with a pair of Nothi's.
PS: No, this is not a "nerf knives" post. Knives are fine the way they are.

The Scout has always been seen as the counter to the heavy, literally since the beginning. That does not automatically imply it was an assault suit.

The bons is ok. It has the same damage as the pro varient so the pro must be op too. NO. It's and officer varient and is the most risky to use. It does its job how it should.

I feel like shotguns are in a decent place.
Officer weapons are officer weapons and as such are pretty balanced to their position in the order of weapons. They may have become a bit overly accessible but it was pretty obvious that this was going to happen once they were able to be traded.

You should send that Scout a mail asking him to stand still and die with 300ehp Vs about 900dps...
The Scout (please don't give me that recon BS) is an assassin, fragile but usually carrying enough alpha dmg to kill fast, while I do agree the Bon's is over the top.. a plate stacked heavy is a joke and asking to be shot in the face

Why though there are ways to get around shotgun fits its not like they're OP and if CCP took away the ability to make your own fit I can personally guarantee that most people would quit as customization is one of the good points that this game still has. also If were talking about $hit that shouldn't happen then lets talk about all the heavy nova knifers that move as fast as a scout and are almost impossible to kill because of how much hp they have.
