Non-Disclosure Agreements must be in place on the new CPM2 because all the loud posters that CCP used to listen to out here are now all quiet. Hey CPM2 - tell us when you get the branding!

Forums are getting quiet from the usual trouble makers who won their tags. Breakin is even quiet. That is just plain scary!

The only dev posts were responses to attacks of character and comments on the quiet.

 Questions:
Events? (This is telling for some. How many posts before CCP says something?)
Patch updates or information on hotfixes? (Yeah, that went quiet.)
CPM2 silence for a week. (minimum, more for some)
All conversations about DK have died. (PCs have become ghost towns except for militia raiding fun)

Throw out other signs of some impending doom or blessing (We had quiet prior to cloaking devices and new sidearms). The quiet of the gods of Dust is disheartening. Maybe we need to get better at insulting the wrathful posts?

In regard to the CPM2 silence: meetings and Skype conversations with CCP can distract them. They will probably be quiet while they acclimate to their new meeting schedules and what not. Either that, or they will develop a crippling addiction to meth.

 Whatever works.

CCP is characteristically silent. What did you expect? That's kind of CCP's thing. "Give us money. No, we will not be talking to you. See you next fanfest."

Does that make you sad you didn't win Rip? You would be locked up like they are.

As for me being sad, no not at all. The people I really wanted to get elected are CPM2; Cross, Kirk, Breakin, and Kevall. That's all a voter can ask for.

They're slowly learning that they can't enact real change in this game anymore, but by thunder they're gonna try. Those lil champs.

Part of me really hopes CCP is making Legion somewhere in the dark, but then the other part of me that sees how well CCP does making FPS games on their own...makes me cringe. The thought that some random forum noobs may even have an influence on that process?

 Horrifying.

I am over there quite regularly but yes you are correct F&I does seem to be limited to a core group.

Imo, it's a non-issue since the only things that needs tweaks are ADS (and maybe Lavs). What's wrong with HAVs now?

 For the record:

We've been working on formalizing communication with you guys and I'd imagine a big fault of that is the fact that virtually no-one goes to the 'Council's Chambers' sub-forum and looks at it. Cross made a formalized post regarding our first meeting, which you can find here.

Now, that being said, I'd like to mention that almost all of our communication with the public is going to be formally placed in there and that is where you should keep an eye on from here on out. It is unlikely we're going to make any sort of formal posting here in General Discussions or Features and Ideas unless we're asking for feedback about a particular topic (such as my thread about Lore/Immersion, Zaria's threads about weapon balancing such as the Laser Rifle, Dennie's thread on NPE).

Yes, we are -VERY- busy. Cross and I both started school, which as you can imagine takes up a sizable amount of time. To my knowledge, all of us have full-time jobs. Most of our discussions we can't even talk about publicly because #NDA.

It isn't that we don't care or suddenly silent -because- of the NDA. Correlation does not imply causation. Just most of our energy is spread out all over the place, yet surprisingly focused at the moment, it seems

Honesty like this is greatly appreciated. We know other games exist and this isn't a JOB so we know that you aren't our servants. It was just funny that all of a sudden, all the CPMs stopped posting. It is college moving week so I could see that stopping people.

If it's any consolation I've spent 17 hours on it already and am 27% complete, according to the little value at the bottom left of the screen in the Helicopter.

Lol, we stopped posting because almost all of that energy is now being spent on discussions with CCP on how to make Dust 514 better :)

Which, as I said in my previous post, you can totally see those efforts right now just by looking at the threads we're getting feedback on ^_^ Not promising that any - let alone all - of those suggestions will make it in, but we are definitely aware of them and passing them up the chain.
