I've got an idea that could be a fun, addicting feature, and potentially help with "battle leaving".
Reward players for consecutive win streaks.
Every consecutive win, give players an additional 2% ISK and SP, up to a maximum 20%.
Leaving battle ends your streak.
Incentive to win, to keep winning, and when two good squads face each other, both will have the incentive to keep their streak going, instead of just backing out.

Or, an incentive to form your own squad and get your own streak going, plus incentive to end other squads streaks, plus incentive for good squads to actually battle it out :P

Why make it only a win streak bonus? Why not call it a "contract completion bonus" and reward anyone who has consecutive battles they stay in for the whole time? This would even incentivize staying in a battle that is extremely one sided and wouldn't act to make the income gap between vets and new players larger.

This sounds like the right idea. Call it contract completion bonuses. Lore wise, your merc leaving a battle they jumped into burns their reputation. The more contracts they complete without leaving promotes the merc's reputation and a negotiated bonus. Maybe call it a handler bonus. "He will fight till the breath leaves him. Like you paid him to do!"
"Dying with your rep tool out - the logi-flasher!"
Who hasn't been caught by a cute little female scout doing this?

Would there be any way to reward players for breaking out of the redline to cap a point or two behind enemy lines? Would give incentive not to hide in the redline or quit but rather to actually try. Once you're redlined, there's little incentive to push.

If there is a way for this to be coded than it would be worth every bit of dev time it took.

Maybe things like have it so that if you're 4 or 5 capped in a skirmish, depending on the map, then hacking back 2 Null Cannons would be worth double WP each. Setting an Uplink at least 100m from the redline and at least within 70m from the Objective in a Dom, when redlined, would mean 50% more WP per spawn on that link (could also apply to a Skirmish)

why not have some bonus for streaks of 'matches completed' but the streak goes up faster when you win. if you dont want people to drop, reward them more for not dropping, if you only reward winning you will continue the streak of stompers continuing to stop, and just frustrate other players who can go 4+ matches without winning even if they dont drop. |

See this thread for match completion streak bonuses:

As for stomping, if anything this would help the situation. How?
Right now the stompers are all already trying their absolute hardest to win every match, except when they see a tough opponent many of them will just back out, throwing the rest of their blueberries 'to the wolves'.
And why not? There's no penalty for that, just skip this hard match and fight more easy opponents. With this system something would actually be on the line, the tough squads would have to face each other.
As an extra bonus, there would be even more encouragement for solo players to squad up and try to build some streaks of their own.

I agree with you on all points except your final extra bonus. I am a solo player when it comes to pubs as I enjoy the challenge. I squad up mainly for Factional and thats it. This win streak will make me want to solo more, and it will make me push harder as there will be more of a challenge.

No, pubstompers ARE the tough opponents. There's no higher tier of skilled, honorable players who DON'T screw people over with exploits and protospam.

Point 1: When 2 stomp squads see each other, it's not uncommon for one of them to back out. This might make that less likely.
Point 2: Please explain how you think this punishes solo players

Solo player here, this system in no way punishes us. Squads might be OP but that is because of the Teamwork they put in. A decent solo player would work to benefit the team instead of trying to stay ISK positive and keep a decent K/DR. I die at least 8-10 times in a match when going against a squad of proto stompers and I keep pushing, I keep taking objectives and whatever else would help my team.
If you are talking about the p*ssy solo players who care more about their stats than winning, yes this will punish them and I am glad for it.

When you reward one group of players (those who choose to squad) that's automatically, indirectly punishing the other group (those who choose to solo). |

No... It's not.
Solo players on average lose more games, but that's their choice.
Implementing a system like this would change nothing with the solo player experience.
What I'm suggesting is a reward for consecutive victories, nothing to do with squads at all actually
