The red line either needs to be altered significantly or removed period, neither I, or anyone else should be able to wander into your redline, get 5 kills in an area that is supposed to be... What's the word? Oh yeah, SAFE. I should not be able to warbarge the redline, they should not be able to warbarge our redline, simply because we/they got pushed back due to not having enough people in a game. Furthermore, "Redline sniping" and sitting in a redline with a tank need to be fixed, somehow, It gets a tad annoying seeing a G/Cv0 in either redline popping its head out just long enough to kill someone, then popping back in, you can't chase it into the redline, you can't do anything except warbarge it, and then it will move out of range a good 80% of the time, I don't know what, but if SOMETHING can be done to make the redline so vulnerable and overly safe at the same time, It would be much appreciated by dozens of dust players, and those are just the ones I"ve run into In game that have mentioned it to me explicitly. |

A corp mate proposed making the redline kinda like a force field, bullets from either team can't pass through and once any vehicle leaves the line they can't get back in. Or if they do, freeze the cool down on modules and keep it paused for five seconds after releaving it..idk, maybe make red lines for ds/ads be a ten second delay until suicide to avoid having pilots just fly in to lose swarms. Idk, but something does need to be done. |

You seem to be contradicting yourself. You want the redline to be safe, but you also want to be able to attack snipers and vehicles within it. |

Honestly, I'd rather it be removed altogether, and I don't want to be able to attack them in it, I just don't want them to be able to camp there without being touched, MCC sniping and etc, I want the redline to be non rushable, if it's a necessity. Not make me absolutely invincible. |

Implement a thing that allows them to take no damage but can not fire for 10 seconds or so. This will mean that he cant just run out and take shots and run back in and it also means that people have a chance to retaliate against these people.

I don't know if people still visit this thread but I have had some thoughts about this red line "problem".
Can't they make an orange line where the team red lining the other team gets a damage reduction the closer they are to the red line deeper in and the team getting red lined get a reduced weapon range the closer they are to there red line?
This would make up the difference in fire power that made them red lined and prevent red line sniping since sniping are so dependent on range. Only problem with this idea would be that the red lining team could use range to counter the damage reduction and be relativity safe since the enemy team are range nerfed.
If we put a range nerf for the red lining team on the orange line as well that could make up for it...
It's just a thought and it would need some polishing but I think this idea would work better than removing the red line making the team at a disadvantage unsafe everywhere and they would jump out of the battle. Also making a "shield" where you are completely safe would make it a game of whack the mole.
In my opinion a orange line where nerfs are dynamically applied would eventually find a sweet spot where the two teams are on an equal footing and make the last part of the match more enjoyable to everyone.
