Dust has a serious problem. Performance is at an all time low. I'm actually having more fun on destiny and thats an absolute first. Maybe I'm burnt out but man, the lag and framerate issues are really starting to get to me.

I'll bet Snake from Metal Gear could fix the performance issues.
Because beer, that's why.

I tried to log on to dust yesterday, but I ended up playing any other game.
Fired up bf4 for the first time in a year to discover they had actually finally got around to fixing some of its performance issues and the gungame isn't hampered by the shoddy performance of the netcode.
I might log in to dust if I get a real craving for missile tank fun, but even that gets old.

Not only is performance bad , games just don't have any ebb and flow to them , it's either stomp or be stomp most matches and I say most because out of say 20 matches , you might get 2 or 3 where you actually had a fight that went back and forth .
That's a big might at that .

What's awesome is that when I login in the mornings, I get thrown into perma-Doms while looking for that one win a day you need for maximum from minimum, and I know I have no better or worse than a 50/50 chance at it no matter what I do. So, if things don't look stompy in my favor inside the first two minutes (cuz let's face it, I ain't ever going to swing a match solo), I just back off and ride uplink points. Soon enough, my side will catch a win, and I log off.
There are four main races in DUST514: The Amarr, bla, bla, and bla.

At this point the 1 key a day holds absolutely no sway.
Lately I've been having more fun playing advanced warfare.
Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair.

I always have used wired connections and have the 5op tier internet for my area, which is Las Vegas so it's not bumfk idaho potatonet. I don't have lag issues on any other multiplayer game I play. I have the SAME setup I have used for Dust since...ever. The issues are not caused by that, its the games performance server side.... again, stop making excuses.

Same issues as usual, only worse. Framerate drops, been getting a lot more actual lag in gmes (I know the difference), hit detection is still spotty. Same old stuff that has always existed, just gotten worse instead of better in 3 years. I always understood CCP was a small team with little resources and it was a f2p game so I didn't mind it much, just having a hard time overlooking it anymore. Pub matches are usually not fun, running solo is a nightmare, fw is a farming ground for anyone who doesnt sync teams, and PC is....well it just takes too much prep time. Dust feels like more of a chore than a game right now and that fact is highlighted by the performance problems.
MgsV and Taken King and FFXIVHW are serving just fine to pass the time until the next update tho lol.

Yeah, it's a good thing I've latched onto the only seemingly permanent problem in DUST: making the AmScout viable.
