KNIVES< that are infinitely more powerful than a SHOTGUN, the shotgun does HALF the damage that knives do.
So for balance, why don't we increase the damage done by a primary weapon by 50% to bring it in line with a sidearm!!!! |

Balance? It's perfectly balanced. Why would you compare a light weapon to a sidearm anyways? 2 different things. Try work as intended and aren't abused. They are perfectly balanced. Don't touch them.

If they had that much damage you would have to severely nerf the rof and we don't need another breach sg anyway.
Duct tape fixes everything from weapons to suits and even tanks.

You either have NO IDEA what you are talking about or FORGOT that the shotgun is also limited by ammo and that the swarm launcher auto-locks on target!

The shotgun as better range, if your looking for a large amount of damage I recommend the breach shotgun. Packs one hell of a punch but be sure NOT to miss

Considering a shotgun can one or two shot most people in the game I'm not really seeing too much of a problem. I will say perhaps the shotgun needs an adjustment, more dmg on the proto level perhaps but less on the standard/military. As things stand now you a heck of a lot of people running around with militia shotguns and getting several kills.

There are a few great things Dust 514 did right. One of them is shotguns balance.
Seriously tho, Dust 514 shotguns are the most balanced shotguns I've ever seen in a game: please don't touch them.
