The matches were very entertaining, not to mention trash talking each other on coms

There's no shame there. They can run what they want. I did an officer stomp a couple weekends ago. It was fun AF. 6 matches straight in a row back to back running Rattati or Scotsman.

see when I run officer gear (which I don't, I just sell it now) I pull out a Darth's, spawn from the ground spawn and get sniped before I even get off the ******* rocks. |

Unfortunately this kind of result was happening long before Officer gear became common place in Ambush. Once the red team realizes there is a powerful squad marching through the blue team it just snowballs and the red team looks like a bunch of little kids playing soccer.
Looking at your team I would have bet on a slightly better outcome.

We were caught pretty off guard. We all spawned in APEX initially, then saw the reds rolling through the killfeed

So I'm looking at the picture you've supplied and, yeah, on the enemy team I see four LORD-BRITISH and three Carne Con Papas (possibly a fourth lower down), but on your side of the scoreboard I see three Ancient Exiles. and three DIOSES DEL EDEN, possibly with more further down. Are you sure British and Papas were q-syncing and not, instead, just two completely separate squads who happened to be running officer put together through matchmaking that's actually working as intended? Seeing as how it looks like both sides have, at least, two squads apiece. Matchmaking can put together people of similar skill level or MU or whatever, but it can't dictate what gear people run.
In short, both teams have at least two squads on them. The squads on the enemy team using officer gear doesn't necessarily mean they were syncing. Matchmaking may have actually been working as intended, but it can't dictate what gear everyone brings into battle. |

Tbh I'm even getting bored of officer. I run it so much now. WE NEED A NEW TIER. it should be called- CIVILIAN. idk why.
So there's enlisted, then officers, then the high civilians (SOD, PRE, etc) I want a president dropsuit. Or a dictator or something.

Hopefully this summoning works, Solo Ambush would improve gameplay there greatly 
Saying that, over the last while DMG have had 3/4 Squads Qsyncing ambush, followed by burning millions of ISK proto/officer stomping each other and I have to say... It's almost better than PC battles 
Imagine how much more fun this game would be with less e-ego more Te Sbundo!!

Lord British isn't good at all with their Officer "Stomps". I was pinned in a match against them yesterday ( a dom) and they tried stomping but were no match for Masha, myself, and two of her Japanese friends.
We cloned them....hard and I wasn't even using a good fit. I was trolling around with a plasma cannon and a flaylock pistol hopping across roofs.
