Ok well i decided to actually help out my teammates for once  and i went around the left side of the map and i notice a enemy standing there firing at people across the way so i go and start firing at him. Then all of a sudden he turns around and 1 shots me. I know it could be lag but he was firing at teammates right before he shot me so it wasn't that. So i just shrug it off cause the game is still in beta and then BAM dead instantly AGAIN. But this time when i died it said i suicided. So i scroll around in the respawn map thing and where i was on the map there were 2 people 1 was hacking the turret and the other was on the "road". So i start getting a little fustrated cause i'm loosing out on my Heavy Machine Guns i had just bought and when i BARELY spawn i was 1 shoted yet again. 
So either some guns need to be nerfed a little bit or something cause getting 1 shoted a couple times didn't feel good.
And the black screen when spawning should be rearranged so you get at least 3 second to actually fight back or something cause the enemy gets a free kill when you just spawn and can't see. |

Spawn campers are generally a scurge in this build, abusing and exploiting a known bug to get cheap points.
Of course, you kinda have to be overbearing towards those poor excuses for subhuman vermin. That is after all the only way they can really earn any points, as it is my experience that spawn campers are generally an incompetent bunch of mentally deficient low lives.
Hopefully the next patch will address this problem, and we can start kill those sorry pieces of cannon fodder again. |

Just a thought, but you were probably 1 shotted by someone with a Forge Gun...those things are deadly. |

Just a thought, but you were probably 1 shotted by someone with a Forge Gun...those things are deadly.
Agreed. You probably should have taken note of what nuked you, maybe even the armor the character was wearing. If it was indeed a forge gun, the character would be wearing the big ol' bulky heavy armor; on top of that, the gun is intended to be doing that much damage (it's draw back is charge time and relative accuracy, your shots have to land somewhat close for damage) as it's mainly an anti-vehicle/"artillery" weapon. |

you know... this is going to sound really ocward but i somehow one shoted a heavy with the militia assault rifle a couple days ago.
i just barely nicked the top of his head and he fell over dead and i got 50 points for a kill, so i duno if his hp bar glitched and he had no shields and a sliver of armor when it showed him at full on both, or i suddenly had a bullet that acted like a forge gun. |

Hitting something in the head does do markedly more damage than hitting them in the torso... I think the point with the heavies is that they are SO strong in the body armour that everyone assumes that a head shot would also be comparatively weak.
However there is only so much armour you can put on your head so it seems reasonable that the damage may be full points plus a little bit more with a head shot.
*as for the OP, seeing what he was using would be useful it could have been a sniper rifle and if you were in a recon suit that seems likely that they would one shot you. However if you were in an assault or a heavy suit then it was probably a forge gun..* |

Nope when the guy was firing at my teammates he was using a assault rifle.
I was using my Heavy Machine Gun so i was a Heavy when he 1 shot me.
He might of done a head shot on me but considering that when he shot me i was moving around a bit behind him it couldn't be that. I think it might of been a camper i just don't think campers play Skirmish very much though. |

if the guy was using a sniper then i think that was me beucase i remember a kill like this as one of my best and lucky headshots as you had scared the living daylights out of me so span and shot and did a noscope head-shot ^-^
the spawn camping is a known issue that will hopefully get fixed on the 29th until then dont spawn in hot zones if you're expensive fits |
